Do you like astronauts? Do you like space ladies? What about possums in space??
Hello! I'm Geneva, GDBee Art, a freelance artist who loves to draw space themed artwork. So much so, that I'd love turn a few of these illustrations into a pin collection! Each pin is based on a past illustration; all cohesive with an astronaut theme but with their own flair. I am seeking to raise $1,300 to have all six created!
Each pin is 1.75 inches (4.44 cm) on its longest side, with two rubber clutches on the back and attached to a backing card. They will all have a smooth to the touch, hard enamel finish. Each pin also comes with a matching sticker!
UPDATE OCT 26TH: This campaign has gotten off to an amazing start, so as an extra thank you so all backers, each backer will receive an extra holographic sticker. This sticker is only given to backers of this campaign and won't be available anywhere else!
- SHIPPING -
Pins will be wrapped in plastic wrap, placed inside a bubble mailer, and sent via USPS first class. The single pin tier will not have a tracking number, but multi-pin and print tiers will. One pin tier: $2 , All other tiers: $5
For Global Backers: Very sorry the international rates are so ridiculous! The base shipping rates to ship from the USA is just bonkers. These are the cheapest rates I can charge that include tracking at the moment. One pin tier: $13 . All other tiers: $20
If you like the art these pins are based off of, then are also shiny foil print tiers to accompany each pin! The prints would be on extra heavy photographic stock with inlaid foil. Most are in gold, but "Space Letterman II" will have an eye-catching rainbow sheen, and "Many Moons" in rustic copper. They are sized A5 (about 8.5 x 5.5 inches, "Boldly Go" is square at about 6 inches), signed and titled on the back and placed inside an archival crystal clear sleeve. Prints will ship flat.
If you would like a different print than your chosen pin, please let me know in the backer survey sent out after the campaign ends :)

Risks and challenges
This is my fourth Kickstarter project and second time creating enamel pins, so I am experienced in their creation. I will also be using a trusted middleman service to minimize any sort of hiccups. The biggest hurdles would be overseas shipping on the pins, particularly if they fall close to the holidays. If there are any delays, I will update backers ASAPLearn about accountability on Kickstarter
