Who will be fulfilling orders from Kickstarter/Backerkit?
Depending on the volume of orders at the end of the Kickstarter campaign, we will make a determination whether or not it is feasible for Cold War to fulfill the orders with our in-house fulfillment operation (as we did for Squarriors The Card Game and are currently doing for Fight Your Friends). If it is not feasible for us to do it in-house, we will use a 3rd party fulfillment service. When will fulfillment take place/when will I get my stuff?
The game will likely be submitted for manufacturing some time during the Backerkit. Once it is submitted, we will be able to better estimate of the timeline for receiving the shipment of finished products from China. We're currently estimating fulfillment to start within the first quarter of 2020 but that is definitely subject to change.Last updated: -

We cannot solicit 3rd party reviews until we have review units to send to reviewers. We won't have those until we manufacture the game. Once we have manufactured the game we will, most definitely, be sending out copies for review.

Note: Definitely recommend that you watch the gameplay walkthrough video on the front page of the campaign if you have questions about gameplay!
Q: Can the game support 4-6 players?
A: Theoretically, the game can support an infinite number of players. At present, the game only supports three simultaneous players because there are only three Avatar cards.Fire? Shadow? Ethereal? Huh?
Different types of encounters (Goons, Fiends, Mutants, Abominations, Demons, and Witches) each have different types of magic to which they are resistant or vulnerable. Each of those types of magic have a different focus: Fire is primarily damage, Shadow focuses on minion/master/player "control" abilities, and Ethereal manipulates the rules and state of the game. What strategic decisions do I have to make?
Attack combinations, ability selection/usage, target priority, shard/talent selection/usage, item selection/usage, item/ability/talent combinations,.. there are also long term strategies involving building your avatar to be competitive in higher level tiers. The game intends you to keep the state of your Avatar (the items you've collected, your shard/talent choices, etcetera) across multiple campaigns. You don't start fresh every time, in fact, you *can't* start fresh every time if you want to be able to take on the higher-difficulty campaigns. Is there a way to better my odds when rolling dice?
Abilities, items, and Spirit Shard passive/active abilities have roll manipulation effects. For example, some allow you to reroll, some to combine rolls, some to save good rolls to use at a later time. So, in co-op, do we all attack at the same time? When do we use items/abilities?
Teammates attack and use abilities in turn, but do so in the same phases as all other players. For example, during the ability phase, each player has a chance to use an ability. Can I get the scary monster-things to attack my friend instead of me?
With the exception of some card specific instances and some campaign affixes, all encounters counter-attack every player in the game at the same time, for the same value. How does the difficulty work when we have more good guys?
Campaign affixes add effects to the game that scale with more players. You'll use the same type and number of encounters. In a co-op game, is the player using the Lady Death avatar in charge?
No. Each player plays in the same way as all other players, regardless of which avatar they are using. They choose their own abilities, items, etcetera. During the game, each player has an opportunity to decide when to use those abilities, what combination of attacks to use, what to attack, etcetera.Last updated: -
