Gest Final Update
Hello Backers,
We've had to make an exceptionally difficult decision today. We have been unable to secure the further funding we needed to guarantee the production and delivery of Gest. Today we will begin issuing full refunds to all backers who haven't received their reward. You should expect to receive your refund within the next two weeks.
We can't thank you enough for believing in us and in our vision. From our humble beginnings at a hackathon in 2013 to the amazing support we received from you, our backers, this has been an incredibly wild ride and an amazing learning experience for all of us.

While I appreciate your willingness to refund in the face of these problems (something that not a lot of kickstarters do), are you absolutely certain there's no way forward? Perhaps work a bit more with the current KS money, then once you have a more advanced prototype, try again, either with venture capitalists or with another kickstarter drive? I only pledged for one at the time of the KS, but I fully intended to add-on a second later, so there's probably more money to be extracted from your backers, along with people who missed it the first time around. I think this is a really cool concept, and would to see it come to fruition.
In fact, I care about this so much that I would be willing to test your products and espouse them to the world as someone not affiliated with your project. I live nearby in San Antonio, so if anyone is expressing doubts, I would be happy to review the product as it currently stands.
All in all, I'd hate to see y'all give up so soon. If worst comes to worst, I think it's incredibly honorable of you to offer to return our funds, but I'd rather have a pair of Gest than my money back.
