About this project
BYOBed is back! October 26, 2013 10:00pm - 7:00am
BYOBed brings together a dizzying cast of New Orleans based artists of every genre to create an incredible overnight slumber party experience! Beyond creating the stunning all around experience for our guests, BYOBed provides collaborative opportunities and new avenues for artistic expression for local artists. Installation artists work to build an environment in tune with musicians, performance artists and filmmakers combine to present a multidimensional piece and painters create
That was last year and this year our collective creativity will take us even further!

Risks and challenges
The work of artists is invaluable yet often under appreciated by way of payment and viewership. It's a constant challenge to find new audiences and different ways to reach or communicate with our audiences. An interactive and multidisciplinary approach is our way of providing different methods for everyone to find something they can relate to or understand on a personal level.
Another challenge is to create interest in future jobs for these artists! After BYOBed has come and gone, these artists will still be working hard at their crafts and we will still be working hard to expand opportunities for artists. Your help allows these artists to showcase their work in front of a larger community.
