Hi everyone!

By now, you should have all received your pledge manager invites to BackerKit and we see that many of you have already completed your surveys.  Thank you!

We've also received a few questions about the pledge manager which we wanted to address here.  Please see below.

Q - Can I upgrade my Base Game pledge to the Deluxe Edition?

A - Yes!  We did not have this explicit option available when we sent out the surveys, but we just added it now.  You'll see a $10 upgrade option for those of you who pledged for the base game.  If you want to upgrade, you can select this option under add-ons and you'll get the Deluxe Edition with all its goodies during fulfillment instead!

Q - Why are there so many different add-ons?

Lovelace had a lot of different pledge levels.  To make sure there was parity between campaign rewards and add-ons for people at these various pledge levels, we had to create more add-ons than usual for our campaigns.  For example, there was a Deluxe Edition x1 at $30 and a Deluxe Edition x2 at $45 in the campaign.  This meant we needed to create an $15 option for Deluxe backers to add-on another copy.  We tried to accommodate most cases but this also meant that there were a lot of add-ons created.  If you feel we missed any, feel free to PM us and we'll try to sort it with you!

Q - Why is shipping so high for the non-Lovelace add-ons?

A - Lovelace is being shipped to local depots around the world, but the other add-ons are all stored in our US warehouse.  If you select one of these add-ons (TvE, Einstein, etc.) they must be shipped separately from there as a second shipment.  This mostly affects non-US backers.

Q - How do I complete my pledge manager survey if I am a retailer?

A - The pledge manager does not handle retail orders well.  Please complete your address information and then PM us with your particular issues.  In most cases, we then just need to manually input your rewards and you'll be all set.

Q - I have a question or issue that isn't addressed here.  What should I do?

A - Please PM us and we'll do our best to assist you!  The pledge manager is an amazing tool for 95% of fulfillment, but there are always random issues that it doesn't address.  We handle these on a case-by-case basis in every campaign so feel free to reach out and we'll make it right.
