Have a question?
@veritandu not sure on when the movie sequel may happen...but we are working on the book sequel :)
@Russell please message us. Likely we never received your backerkit survey. Thanks!
I never received the digital download.
So the $250,000 question is... When are you making the sequel ;)
Love it. Very gripping. Good acting. Nice script. Wouldn't mind seeing where the story goes.
If you haven't received your rewards yet, it is likely because we never received the BackerKit survey with the address to send it to---or less likely, it could have been lost in the mail. If you haven't received them yet, please message us directly to make sure we see can keep track. Thanks!
Did you guys go out of business? Where is my copy of the movie?
Yeah, still nothing here despite getting an email saying it shipped over 2 months ago.
Sent a message via KS, no reply.
I have not received anything as of July 18 also.
It is July 14. I have not received the DVD or any of the other items....very disappointed.
@jason Thanks! And we agree, Brogan's work with the props is phenomenal (have one sitting in my office)
@Patrick Thank you! Glad you son likes it :)
At last I have had time to sit and watch the film and found it very enjoyable and thought provoking. Certainly going on my 're-watch' list.
Also, hats off to the craftsman who created the transmitter prop, beautifully detailed work.
Finally got around to watch it. Loved it. My 8 yr old son, who hates live action films, loved it. Actually he's watching it now for a second time. Job well done.
@phyllis by now yes...especially if you're in the U.S. Looking into it.
It is June 24. I have not received the DVD, soundtrack or poster. Should those items have been received by now?
@Lee Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
Just watched the film and I absolutely loved it! Amazing story well portrayed on a tight budget. Congratulations to all involved.
@Chris just saw it today and will message you back. Sorry for the delay! --RY
@Adam I will get the CD tracklist for you in the next week and post it in an update. --RY
I believe the subtitles are done automatically by a computer...I'll have to look into it and see what happened. Thanks for letting us know! --RY
I get the impression that Arrowstorm is not responding here anymore as my direct message went unanswered as well, but I figured I'd try to get an answer here anyhow.
My pledge was to include " a 11x17 inch poster signed by cast and crew. "
The poster I received had one signature on it and I'm not even sure whose it is.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Question about the OST
Digital one has 26 tracks
CD has 16 tracks
Could I get a tracklist for the CD?
Got the DVD last week and saw it today. A very nice movie!
But indeed, as others has mentioned also, it is a pity that the subtitles went wrong after about 1h10m of playing. As English isn't my native tong, their are very useful, but from here they become more subtracting than useful. But I loved the movie!
Thanks for confirming @richard. Indeed ... some were out of order as well. Had to turn them off to actually be able to finish the movie. The errors were to distracting.
@Jurriaan: Yes, that I did notice too. After 1:15 or so, some even looked to be actually out of order.
Watched the movie yesterday. It's pretty OK! Music reminisces to MOON, visuals aren't top notch but serve their purpose. Definately watchable.
Just out of curiousity I had the English subtitles running along. Has anyone noticed them going out of sync after about 80 minutes?
Bubble-wrapped package containing the Blu-Ray was deposited into my snailmail-box last Monday. Haven't had time to watch it yet, but from past experience I know anything from Arrowstorm Entertainment is worth watching. Thanks!
Received my Blu-ray yesterday, watched it today.
Other than a couple of typos in the subtitles (the pedantic part of me catches those sort of things), Magellan was an interesting movie and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Two thumbs up!
@john VHX.tv is the means by which we distribute our digital downloads, and you should see the download options below the streaming option.
@jurriaan All our Kickstarter discs are duplicated rather than replicated due to the prohibitive cost of replication for small runs. (You must print thousands of discs to make Replication a viable option). However, you should experience no difference in playback or quality with duplicated discs. Please message us if you experience any issues!
I can watch it, but can't download it. When is that feature available, or has it been cut?
euh... guys... was this BluRay supposed to be a burned disc as opposed to factory replicated?
I guess USPS is using Horse & Carriage :)

Got my bluray today. Watched it tonight. All I can really say is "wow."
Got a nice surprise in the mail today, Magellan on blu-ray!
Having problems downloading the novel. I keep getting the error "This file is not commonly downloaded. - backerkit.com
Received blu-ray today. Probably will watch it tonight or tomorrow.
I haven't received my digital download of the movie what happen ?
I can't find my download link for the soundtrack. I checked my spam folder. thankyou
BTW after watching Magellan, I can honestly say it's amazing! Springs much to the imagination. Very artistic in script and picture. Not many movies are like this. Keep up the awesome work and I hope to watch Survivor soon.
I have not received Survivor. When will I receive this movie too?
watched the movie yesterday... ... ... okay, as the creator hoped way down in the comments, i was not TOO disappointed :-) And okay we might see it as a homage to Dark Star. Especially the ending. Am still undecided whether the movie is worth writing an 'improvement' on my site www.scriptdoctors.org ...
Don't think a Sequel is intended. In fact, the only deeper meaning in the movie is the way it ends... the attitude towards your life and your own path.. "Mission to Mars" also had this element.
Roland, alias Robo Durden, the little physicist(!) ....
@ Jurriaan: Thanks for your tip! I indeed did it the wrong way. Now I could open all the files and add them / listen to them in iTunes. Nice soundtrack indeed!
Watched it. Enjoyed it. So... when does the Kickstarter for Part 2 launch? :)
I've started listening to the soundtrack and I must say: it's beautifil... mesmerizing. Can't wait to see the movie! Sounds like it's not going to be a standard run of the mill sci-fi action flick.
About the zip extraction: I am on Win10 64Bit and used the Win10 embedded Extract Here functionality. As mentioned there were a number of errors but I skipped them. The .M4A files in the extracted "Magellan Soundtrack" folder seem to be OK (I'm listening to them now). There's also a "_MacOSX/Magellan Soundtrack" folder with 1KB sized .M4A files. These obviously won't work.
Tried to unzip the soundtrack and download and playing all tracks with iTunes (where I have all my music) but it refused to download and play them, except one track (nr. 26, finale). Tried to play them with another player, failed too. I noticed it gives several 'mistake failures' already during the unzip proces.
Can you send the soundtrack simply as mp3's? Other creator of other Kickstarter projects had done that previously and it always worked fine!
@Shawn @Jorg @Jo Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for being a part of indie film.
@kenneth I'll remind the producers to get the digital Survivor up! --Rob Y. (director)
Not sure what is up with the zip...I also just tried opening with windows 7 and said tracks with ":" in it won't open, however my buddy who has windows 10 did experience errors due to the mac os files, but all tracks play fine. I'll re-zip on a PC and send it to the producers tomorrow to upload to Backerkit. That should sort it out. Thanks! -- Rob Y. (director)
Try another extractor program, I know some have problems with it. Some will automatically replace problem characters for you on extraction.
I know that Powerarchiver will extract the files without problem for example.
I'm sure there are others.
