Frequently Asked Questions
The Yes Okay sneakers are made using different materials that come from different countries. They are designed in Spain. The soles come from Italy, the uppers from Spain, and the sneakers are manufactured in Portugal.
After visiting manufacturing plants in Spain, Italy and Portugal, we chose our current partner in Guimaråes. This Portuguese city was declared a Unesco World Heritage site in 2011 and chosen as the European culture capital in 2012. In recent years, Portugal has risen as a specialist in the field of casual footwear and our current partner is a prime example of why that has happened. Their know-how, commitment to manufacturing with safe materials (water-based solvents, thread instead of staples or screws) and quality of the final product convinced us.Last updated:
We do not use leather. The fashion industry is working hard to research, find, and use synthetic alternatives that help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and cut back on deforestation and land conversion needed to raise cattle and we want to be a part of this effort.
We also work with suppliers who follow the fair trade guidelines. This means employees are not exploited and their wellbeing is cared for.Last updated:
The uppers are made with a material that looks and feels like leather that is made using a mesh of synthetic fabrics (100% polyamide) and then covered with a layer of 0.0001 millimetres of PU (polyurethane). This makes the material waterproof yet breathable, washable, light, and resistant to wear and tear. This material is also treated with anti-bacterial agents.
The inside of the sneaker (including the removable insole) is made of a microfiber that is 100% breathable, can absorb 8 times its weight, and is temperature-regulating. This means that sweat does not accumulate in the inside, but rather evaporates, ensuring the foot is always dry.Last updated:
Yes our removable insoles are cushioned and made to adapt to the foot’s anatomy. This is, among other reasons, what makes the Yes Okay sneakers so comfortable.
In addition, the insoles are also fully removable so that you can insert your own customised insole or orthotic without an issue.Last updated:
Because we don't use animal products, our manufacturing system is free of CO2 and Chromium IV, so we are doing our part in preventing the greenhouse gas emissions associated with cattle ranching and land conversión.
In addition, we selected a REACH compliant manufacturing plant. REACH is a regulation established by the European Union that has been adopted by many companies to help improve the protection of human health as well as the environment against chemicals, and to promote alternative methods when assessing substances in order to reduce animal testing.
Furthermore, the fibers in our vegan leather are made with at least 30% recycled materials.Last updated:
If you select the 5 or 10 sneaker option, the shipping is complimentary regardless of where you live in the world. For the other options, shipping will be added according to where want your sneakers shipped to.
The rates differ according to number of sneakers ordered and location in the world. We have worked really hard to find a logistics partner to offer very affordable shipping rates. For one pair, the rates are as follows:

We want to leave a positive footprint in the world. And we do that by creating products that are not gender specific in collaboration with artists and illustrators who are committed to social causes that help make the world a better and brighter place to live in. We also work with local suppliers and when choosing our partners, prices and quality are as important as ensuring they follow the principles of fair trade. That is the reason we’ve put our slogan “Yes Okay” on the sole of our sneakers.Last updated:
We have sizes for women and men.
The reason is that women’s feet tend to be a bit narrower than men’s, so when figuring out your size, make sure you check the one that best matches your gender or type of foot.
Time of the day when you should measure your feet:
You should measure your feet at the end of an active day. Your feet swell throughout the day, and you want to ensure you select the size that your feet will love all day long.
What you need
1- A blank piece of paper (we encourage you to use recycled paper!)
2- A measuring tape. If you don’t have one, then a ruler and a piece of yarn (or similar) longer in size than your feet
3- A pencil or pen
Measuring your feet lengthwise
1- Place the blank piece of paper against a wall
2- Now Place your bare foot against the wall on top of the paper
3- Stand up straight
4- Have someone mark the distance from the wall to the tip of your big toe (or as we say in Spanish: the big fat finger of the foot (literal translation)
5- Turn the paper around and follow the same instructions using the other foot
6- Measure the distance with ruler and write it down
Measuring the circumference of your feet
1- Use the measuring tape (or piece of yarn if you are using the yarn+ruler method) and measure the circumference around the wides part of your foot. Write that measurement down.
2- Do the same for the other foot
Matching your measurements to your size
1- Take the length of your feet and multiply times 1.5. The number you get is your size.
2- If your are between sizes, you should always choose the bigger size.
3- If one of your feet is longer or wider than the other one, select the biggest size for both.

You can also use them to match your feet. Don’t pay too much attention to the width you see there since the width of a shoe depends on the entire circumference and factors such as the curve of the insole and the material's give.
While the Yes Okay sneakers are not specifically made for wider feet, they do fit on the wider side of most sneakers in the market.Last updated:
