Armando’s Nightclub in Martinez CA has achieved some great notoriety in its first 14 years of being in business.
It combines classic intimate Greenwich Village-style funky vibe with high-quality sound, stage lighting and service. It’s a highly sought-after venue for local bands and many touring bands have also made stops there along the way.
The combination of the intimacy of the place and the attention to stagecraft provides a memorable experience for the artists and audiences alike. The artists can feel the affect their talent has on the crowd, and people watching and listening feel like they’re involved in the event.
But Armando’s wants to keep attracting new acts, from near and far, to come to play here. We also want to provide a compelling presence for the regional music fan community to know that Armando’s is, as our slogan says, “Open To Music”.
Once someone comes to Armando’s the first time, they want to keep coming back. So, our project is a comprehensive marketing campaign that will include a series of videos that will convey the Armando’s experience for both potential artists and a growing audience. The goal is to make the video a virtual “first time at Armando’s” to entice fans and artists to make this wonderful venue part of their plans.
The videos will also be part of an aggressive marketing push to get the word out via print media, social media, street corners, stage announcements, word of mouth – you name it – to help reach a larger market and attract new acts and audiences alike.

Risks and challenges
