Meet The Arm-Adillo.
The Arm-Adillo is a pencil case that straps to your wrist or sketchbook. It has loops for carrying pencils, pens, and other art materials. The sewn-in elastic band allows it to strap to nearly any sketchbook or tablet. The Arm-Adillo also contains a magnet sewn into the right side, so that you can attach your pencils on any metal surface when not in use.
"Love the product, and I really hope you get funded because this would be great for me.
For me this product has a much broader use than simple sketch art.
I work on small films, music videos, and soon a reality tv show. about every 5 minutes we need Sharpie, pen, or dry erase markers on set. Having this on my arm would make it alot easier than having to get into my grip gear and find what I need.
Good Luck." -Harman
As an artist, it's extremely useful to have my pencils at my side when I am out sketching. I hated putting my pencils in my pants pocket only to poke my thigh when I sat down or poke my fingers when I reached into my pocket. This is what lead me to create a fashionable armband that I could keep my pencils in . After being asked a few dozen times about the armband, I figured I could share my idea with other artists.
What Does it do?
-Organizes 8 art utensils,
-Straps to the wrist, sketchbook, or tablet.
-Sticks to any reactive magnetic surface with an internally sewn high-powered magnet
Organize your art supplies when you are out sketching on different locations, while still being stylish. Have them near by and within your grasp. When using several pencils, simply use your Arm-Adillo to hold your supplies hands free.
Wrap your supplies around your arm in a comfortable fashion. This helps save time by not having to reach far for your pens or pencils. Or keep your supplies on your sketchbook or tablet using the built in elastic band, designed to keep your supplies close and safe.
Uses a very well placed magnet that sticks to any reactive metallic surface, such as you work desk. The Arm-Adillo also detaches and can be laid out flat on any surface. This allows it to be close and organized.
As artists ourselves, we researched people’s natural habits when sketching. The places where pens/pencils are most often stored are pants pockets, or separate bags. Lugging a separate unnecessarily large bag just for your pencils is not ideal, and having pencils in your pocket can cause them to poke your thigh, or hand as you reach for them.
- Material is made of an altered super suede
- Elastic band sewn in the back stretch over nearly any sized sketchbook
- A potent magnet sewn in the side for attaching
- Velcro providing a one size fits most
- Machine washable
Manufacturing The Arm-Adillo
We have a manufacturer ready and they have provided us with the prototypes shown. We are working closely to make sure we put out a quality product.
Some More On Who We Are
We are art students in San Diego. I ,Enrique, as the mind/creator gathered a team of amazing people to help me create The Arm-Adillo.
We have the product design and the drive. At this time we just need the funding to make our design a reality on a large scale. If successfully funded, we can put the money to good use, such as cover the cost of materials, labor, and advertisement.
With this, we will move toward establishing a brand that will produce more products to help creative people in creative ways.

**If you pledge more then 30, leave a message with the circumference size of your wrist for our database**
Send them to me is private message. Along with your name. :D click "contact me" b
They go to kids sizes. So as small as you want. :D Just give me the measurement of you wrist thickness. :D Easiest way to do that is to take a string, wrap it around your wrist and see where it ends. And then measure that string. :D
Yes! it can handle very thin pencils. There are 3 kinds of diameters in the holders. first kind- derwent pencils. which are very thin , and extremely common diameter. second kind - Mid sized pens, and a lot of in between. third kind - 1 Marker sized. something about the size of a chartpak marker or magic marker. +++Then there is one I didn't show in the video. There is going to be an elastic one that should accommodate a mid - very large item. +++ Yeah I am constantly giving it to friends to test out. I want to be sure its quality product before I send all of them out, should my kickstarter succeed.
For now there are only BROWN and BLACK. I felt those were most broad in terms of matching cloths or fashion. If I get the funding though i will expand to a lot of different color types. Also, with the budget I am looking to make specific types for specific types of artists. (ex. cartoonist version, illustrator version etc.)
