Have a question?
I received no email regarding a refund.
Hi - how do I get my refund?
Please contact me.
Just a friendly reminder to piss off!
I got a refund last year. All OK, money in my account, with no problems. A few months later they emailed me and asked how I wanted the refund I was due transferred. So not only do they have no clue who HASN'T received their money, they also don't seem to know who HAS.
Yes, lets start a class action and put these bastards out of business or use one of their rockets to put them in orbit permanently!
YOU F#$@%ing scammers where is my refund! or do i have to come over there and get it in person???????????????????????????????
Chris Lewicki great way to make global enemies and pissed off people!!!! You should be ashamed of yourself for ripping off people, i will make sure i will email our 45k mailing list and inform them of your organisations disgraceful practices and recommend they war everyone they know of your organisations dishonest activities!!
OMG. Amazing. You wait 4 years and they send you 3 emails (of course to and old mailbox, not the one I updated in Kickstarter) and a time frame of 3 months to get your money back. I second the class action!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just remembered this project, and found out they offered refunds a year ago, WTF. Checked my email and they sent me 2 emails that weren't even from kickstarter, so I probably thought it was spam. 45 days for a refund
Anyone get a refund?
I guess i missed the refund deadline...
Guys, there should be plenty of us who didn't receive a refund from these scammers. How about a class-action lawsuit?
Bastards. They keep our money for years and then suddenly give US who believed them and supported them a freaking tiny deadline to claim a refund. WTF guys? I wonder why even bother to look like you want to give the money back to. A total and utter scam. Shame on you.
Their address is 6742 185th Ave, NE Redmond, WA 98052 If anyone wants to go knock on their door and see if anyone is home.
Yay for scammers. It's utterly unacceptable on a personal level to refuse refunds to people. I hope you are ashamed of yourselves. There is no realistic reason why you would refuse refunds at this point, unless you were just plane greedy. Just another kickstopper scam.
Another Kickstarter scam, typical, one quiet little email sent amongst the spam with a tiny time frame to claim refund on, and then it looks like they try to avoid paying refunds even to those who got in within the window. Teaches me for trusting crowdfunded projects
Good heavens. Sent more emails. Still no refund or response. What's going on?
Still waiting on refund
@Wouter, I just sent you an email to follow up on your inquiry. Thanks! Caitlin
Anyone received a refund yet? I responded to the form sent, and emailed again on the 29th of June, but I haven't received any response.
@Vimiew: Email me at Kickstarter@planetaryresources.com with your backer ID and Name, and I will send you your refund link. Deadline in Monday, July 11th. Thanks! Caitlin
I have yet to see a refund on the project. When should those be available? Thanks.
@Kelly - I just sent you your link. Thanks!
@Stephen - I just emailed you. Caitlin
@Kelly - I found your information in our system. If you send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, I can send you your link. Thanks! Caitlin
Hi you can contact them here, good luck
@Caitlin -- how would I email you so you can check?
Still haven't received the initial refund email. It may have gone to spam but I've requested Planetary Resources resend and haven't heard anything from them. The deadline is approaching...
Yes, I'll email you tonight.
Still no refund as yet
@WalkinPneumonia - can you email me your name/backer ID and I can check on your refund status? Thanks! Caitlin
Glad you received yours. I've not seen mine yet. Hopefully today.
And there it was! Money received, much appreciated.
Thank you for refunding Kickstarter pledges.
Space is hard. Commercializing space is harder. And respecting your supporters by offering refunds? Well, that's one of the hardest things I can imagine a space-related company can do.
Best wishes for your further endeavors. and, again, thanks.
Still no refund. How about publishing an estimate of how long it'll take?
Hi, I sent out the refund form very soon after reading the unfortunate news (end of May), but still haven't received anything. Any update?
Received my $380 refund on 07th of June, including $40 for a T-Shirt which I get to keep. Still sorry the whole thing didn't work out, but fair play Planetary resource. Thank you! Good luck with your mining endeavours.
After filling out your contact form each week for the past two weeks and received no response, nor my refund email. I now see there are many people who have not received their refund emails. The reputation of the Planetary Resources organisation is now in the balance. Communicate effectively and do the right thing. Contact those who have not received their refund emails immediately.
I have never gotten my refund email... How do I contact you directly?
still waiting for my refund email..
Thank you for the refund.
Good luck for the future.!
Sorry the project didn't work out, but very glad you guys didn't flake out like a few other Kickstarters I've backed - refund received and your name stays clean (which is worth a lot)
I am still waiting for my refund email as well. Not sure if that is normal though.
I got my refund, thank you Planetary Resources.
Are others still waiting for the initial refund email? I have not received anything after annoucement.
no refund on my paypal yet ...
Scratch that, gmail hid it in promotional emails and it got buried. Shame we wont see the telescope, thanks for following through on the perks and the refund as well.
I haven't gotten any email yet about initiating the refund process, are they going out in stages?
As cool as this project sounded, when I put my $25 down for a space selfie I knew pretty well that there was no chance I was ever going see that money again. I mean really, a space telescope? Investors lose 100% of their money on much less risky ventures than this all the time.
Happy to fund something crazy, and pleasantly surprised to see a refund.
