A few days back there was a $1000 to the DuinoKit project directed to the Bakken Museum in Minneapolis Minnesota.

The Bakken Museum (www.thebakken.org) in Minneapolis, Minnesota offers an Inventors’ Club with the mission of inspiring youth with a passion for science and its potential for social good. Participants in The Bakken’s Inventors Club make their own projects using the tools and materials from The Bakken’s student workshop. Each session has a unique theme to spark the imagination of the students and The Bakken is very excited to use the new DuinoKits to help these young inventors more effectively prototype and improve their inventions.

We are very excited to have the DuinoKit project be a part of the future education and the Bakken's Inventors club.  Thank you Mr. Gelly for your generous contribution,  I also want to thank the Bakken Museum for encouraging the creativity and learning of children.  This was the main intention for the creating of the DuinoKit.

I plan on visiting the Bakken Museum in a couple of days in Minneapolis.  I'm looking forward to seeing the Inventors Club first hand and hopefully I can get my kids involved in one of their future Inventors Club workshops.
