Twelve unique elements for the adventurous and the curious.
Stainless Steel Cord - UNLOCKED!
A flexible stainless braided cord to upgrade your already rugged elemental bracelet to near indestructible levels.
This stretch goal will be unlocked if we reach £8000 and due to the workmanship involved in creating this, it will be available as an upgrade for an added £5.
NOW UNLOCKED! If you add £5 to your pledge and then send us a private message to confirm, we can get you upgraded.
Just like you, each element is unique. Over time, each will age in its own particular way, giving you a unique piece of jewellery that can tell as much a story as you.
Choose from a range of twelve elements to wear from our selection of bracelets. From lightweight aluminium and titanium to heavyweight tungsten, lustrous gold to characterful copper, there's an element for everyone.
Precision machined from solid metals guarantees you a lifetime of use without compromise. You’ll find wearing it comfortable and others will find it intriguing.
Using solid machined materials, we've curated a range of twelve options, more than any other offering available.
From precious metals such as gold and rhodium to lesser-known but vital elements such as vanadium and molybdenum, we've collected a series of elements that surround us in everyday life but often don't get the recognition they deserve.
Personalise with a name, date or message to make your element truly unique. Each custom engraving is placed on the opposite side to the periodic symbol. You'll be able to specify your custom engraving in the post campaign survey.
A simple, easy to use mechanism makes the bracelet easy to put on, take off and keeps it securely on you at all times.
Available in two sizes, the bracelet draws into itself to create the perfect fit around your wrist.
A classic minimal design let’s you stack up multiple elements without overloading your wrist.
These pieces will stand the test of time, lasting for years to come, helping you look great every day, as we won’t compromise on quality.
Each bracelet uses real braided nappa leather. You'll be able to choose your leather option in the post campaign survey.
How do I Choose?
For one bracelet: Simply pick your element and back the pledge level that it belongs to. You will then get to specify your element and leather choice in the post campaign survey.
For a whole Tier Pledge: You'll be able to choose three bracelets from the pledge level you back. For example, you could pick one of each element, or choose two coppers and a vanadium, the choice is yours.
For custom pledges: If you'd like elements from across the tiers, a Titanium and a Gold element for example, all you have to do is back one of them and send us a private message to request the extra bracelet. We will then guide you through what to do next.
What will I receive?
- Iron: 304 Stainless Steel. Stainless steel will not rust like solid iron, but still contains 95% Iron.
- Aluminium: 6061 Aluminium. An aerospace alloy comprised of 98% aluminium. Unlike pure aluminium, this alloy has massively increased characteristics, making it much stronger and more scratch resistant.
- Chromium: 316 stainless steel. Containing 18% Chromium, this steel has a brilliant shine.
- Copper: Solid copper. Pure, unadulterated copper.
- Vanadium: High vanadium steel (grade M4). Usually found inside jet engines or in the production of superconducting magnets.
- Molybdenum: High molybdenum steel (grade M1): Almost always alloyed with steel to greatly increase its strength and hardness.
- Tungsten: High tungsten steel (grade T15) - With the highest melting point of all metallic elements, tungsten is usually alloyed with steel to improve its stability under high temperatures.
- Titanium: Grade 2 Titanium - Unalloyed, pure titanium. Almost half the weight of steel but just as strong.
- Silver: Fine silver plated - 99.9% silver and plated to 2.5 microns, which is classed as heavy silver plate and will last a lifetime.
- Gold: 24cr gold plated - 99.9% pure gold and and plated to 2.5 microns. This is well above standard gold plating and will likewise last a lifetime.
- Palladium: Palladium plated - 99.9% pure, palladium is applied to 2 microns to give a scratch resistant, brilliant shine.
- Rhodium: Rhodium plated - 99.9% pure rhodium plating, hypoallergenic and plated to 2 microns.
To find out which size you'll need, simply wrap a piece of string or length of paper around your wrist, mark the point where it meets itself and then measure the length of it using a ruler. This will give you your wrist circumference. Then all you need to do is choose your corresponding size from the info-graphic below. (sizes will be available to choose in the post-campaign survey)
Every molecule that forms you contains matter created in the burning forges of countless suns. Life isn’t possible without the stars creating the basic building blocks of every tree, animal and person. Parts of us have existed since the birth of the universe. We think it’s time to recognise what we’re made of and what makes the world around us.
From the chaos of when these elements are born, we’ve applied precision engineering to temper each one into usable form.
When a star explodes, matter is ejected in every direction, resulting in a cloud of dust that, over millennia, may go on to form planets. With some exceptions, such as radioactive decay and meteorites, this is where all elements, all matter on Earth comes from.
When you wear an Element bracelet, you’re acknowledging the universe around you and all that it comprises. You’ll be taking your place among the workings of the stars and atoms, among billions of people and other lifeforms as we hurtle through the vastness of the cosmos.
As each bracelet is unique, so are you. The chances of another exact configuration of all the atoms and the experiences that make you ‘you’ occurring are practically non-existent. But you do exist, and as you begin to take greater notice of the world around you, so will others notice you, as each bracelet will attract attention from those who are also seeking to know more.
Your exact atomic make-up is practically impossible to define, and defining who you are can sometimes feel like an impossibility. Personalising your bracelet with a name, date or message can help bring balance if you’re seeking answers or if you want to affirm your place in everything. Perhaps you want to remember a loved one, or reflect on a treasured memory.
Not all treasure is silver and gold.
About the Creator - Sean
I originally trained as a design engineer then turned creative consultant back in 2015. Since then I’ve been involved with a few crowdfunding campaigns aiding with the design and implementation of products, as well as consulting for businesses in a spectrum of industries. I’m passionate about getting the details right and I’m not afraid to get stuck in with the making of a new product. Outside of work I’m a keen climber and trail runner (with some of our product photography shot at my favourite bouldering spot :) )
We're a small team of people passionate about everything design. From a design consultancy background we have a strong heritage of getting products made for large industries. After many years of designing products for other people we wanted to pursue some of our own ideas. The Arder and Perrell brand is born from the desire to create something that uses unusual materials that you can’t buy on the high-street. Combining a love of engineering and science, we wanted to play on the simplicity and honesty of the materials we use, then find new ways people can interact with them.
In this first project we’ve rallied on the pure elements. Making them something more than just a number on a periodic table, forming them into an item that you can touch, wear and fiddle with as you move throughout the wold.
We’ve turned to the Kickstarter community to help bring this project to life, because we hope to build a brand that people care about and there’s no better way to engage directly with the people that care, than through Kickstarter. With this, we also value your input and would be forever grateful if you can spread the word about our little project, by sharing it with people you think might like it.
We want to create things that are a bit different, sustainably sourced and value the individual creator. We care about people and the creators of the world so aim to have everything made in the UK by crafts people who are well paid and valued. We believe in bringing small ideas to life that share our love of science and technology so that like minded individuals can interact with science and engineering in a slightly different way.
Thank you for finding out more about us, if you like what you see please share and let us add something different to the world together.

Shipping & Fulfilment
Shipping will be taken care of by two services, dependent on destination. Royal Mail will oversee delivery of all UK based pledges. Royal Mail will also be the first courier to handle international shipments. All Royal Mail items sent internationally will be handled by the local postal service within the destination country or a delivery service that is partnered within the country. FedEx will be the courier to deliver items to Canada, UAE, India and Mexico.
1. How do I add on more bracelets?
Pledge for any level for your first bracelet and add on the required shipping cost. For the second bracelet add on the required tier cost to your pledge, then send us a private message stating which tier you have added on. We will then make a note of this and you can sit back and relax until the campaign is over.
2. When do I choose my bracelet?
When the campaign has ended, we will send out a survey which will let you specify your element, size, leather and engraving choice.
Risks and challenges
We already have in place accounts with Royal Mail, FedEx and DHL in order to fulfil each item with tracking available for all international orders. Our backgrounds include metallurgy, product design and logistics, so we're well placed to design, manufacture and deliver this project. As we will be making all the bracelets in house, we will oversee every aspect of the production process, including quality control and then shipping direct from our premises here in the UK.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
