The ARCH TR-114 Runner Project (Creating a casual classic)
The TR-114 takes the traditional elements of trainers and combines them with premium materials for a classic with modern sensibilities.
First I truly appreciate you taking the time to read and watch the video for this project. While I am not asking for a huge amount, I hope that the funding will surpass my asking goal. In other words, I'm looking into my crystal ball and hoping that I will fund, but I'm also hoping that the backers will really come through and support me as extensively as I've seen other projects get funded. I want every available level to be filled!
Thanks for visiting the ARCH Kickstarter page. In February of 2014 ARCH successfully ran a campaign and by my research became the fastest shoe company to ship to its backers. I updated my backers often and kept them informed of the entire process. The goal was to be as transparent as possible and increase confidence in ARCH.
Below is the Aztec Red/Black shoe from what I labeled the Kickstarter Pack. This was the most popular color in the pack. I even surprised my backers by shipping them an additional set of shoestrings and a pair of ARCH Logo no show socks.

I worked extremely hard to update my backers often to create a level of comfort and trust. While I launched my project and shipped to my backers I noticed other Kickstarter footwear projects fund at absurd amounts of money. I've been following those projects and it seems that they've had problems shipping or they haven't even produced a shoe and if they have produced the shoes, the sizing has been off or there have been a lot of complaints. ARCH has not gotten any negative feedback. On the contrary I've gotten incredible feedback on Amazon.com. It is my hope that the ARCH TR-114 Runner project will garner some serious support based on what I've done with such a small amount of backing.
I made sure to represent my Kickstarter roots in the last project. I made a Kickstarter colorway that represents the Kickstarter Family The ARCH CG097III Kickstart Green/Black-White.
The Kickstarter Pack production went smooth and allowed for a small amount of brand recognition, but I realized that my work wouldn't be made any easier in acquiring new fans of the brand. With such a small amount of backers the first time around, I haven't really been able to capitalize on the campaign.
I'm running this Kickstarter to accomplish two goals. I realized how difficult it is to crack the performance shoe category so I created a style of shoe that a lot of people who bought the CG097 asked about. I created a classic casual runner. I paid for this out of my own pocket.
The problem was my last was sized incorrectly and I was unable to create a size 13. I have to open a new mold. Your support will allow me to do this in a way that will allow me to launch a Fall line on time for this year.
I also I want to be able to gain a larger following that will allow me to sustain the brand without having to return to Kickstarter and ask for the support of the KS community over and over. I think it is vital to find a way to build my brand and get sales to really solidify my position.
I hope that you will take a look at my previous project and decide to donate to this project. I will take the time to update you as much as possible and go beyond your expectations.

Risks and challenges
The obstacle remains in creating and shipping shoes is that I have to manufacture offshore. This creates uncertainty and potential problems when the shoes can't be monitored and take time to arrive. The great thing about my project in comparison to other shoe companies on Kickstarter is that I've already accomplished my goals before.
My biggest worry is that requesting you to give and then not being able to fulfill the project. I would hate to be one of those projects that makes it's supporters wait, and wait, and wait. Honestly though, this is a concern because I can't control outside factors, but it really isn't a concern.
I plan to build on my previous campaign and strengthen the ARCH Foundation.
Hawaii and Alaska please add an additional 30.00 dollars to your shipment. Although you are in the US, shipping to both locations costs between 25-45.00 dollars.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
