I’m James Wylder, the author or editor of 12 books, including the Doctor Who poetry book “An Eloquence of Time and Space”, the Amazon #1 Time Travel novel “10,000 Dawns”, and the anthology “Poor Man’s Iliad” featuring writers who contributed to Star Wars, Doctor Who, and Marble Hornets. I hosted the live show “Tales by the Blue Light” at the Blue Box Cafe in Elgin Illinois for two years, and have taken my books to 2 countries, 11 US states, and over 20 cities!
Over the years, I've written a lot of good short stories. Many of these tales have become beloved favorites among my readers, but getting ahold of them has become difficult. If you love my writing, or you're going to try it for the first time, these short stories will please you, fill you with wonder...or even horrify you.
I'll be trying to create three volumes: a sci-fi, fantasy, and horror collection, starting with my science fiction work. Each one will have beautiful cover art by a talented up and coming artist. As we meet goals, we'll unlock new books, and the further we go, the more books backers will receive.
So let's learn more about these books!
Set in the same universe as my popular novel 10,000 Dawns, Sidewinders features stories that dig deep into characters, events, adventures across the solar system, and three tales that cross over with licensed characters from the universes of Doctor Who: "Rachel Survived", "The Gendar Conspiracy" and the complete novella "White Canvas".
Some of the most beloved stories in this book include: “The Adventures of Mister Sprinkles the Cat”, “Don Your Armor, Throw Down Your Sword”, and the serial story “The Dusk Cycle”.

From fantasy in far away worlds, to magic right under our noses, you’ll get to explore a plethora of wonders in this collection of my fantasy tales.

Risks and challenges
I have Kickstarted several books on before, and have plenty of experience in publishing. However, I have suffered from severe health issues in the past, and it is possible I could suffer them again during this project.
As I have proved before on those projects, I have delivered the results on each one, after a time delay. But, delays are possible.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
