Wrapping up June
June was a big month for the project and a big month for developers. We released a cut of the film, Apple uncharacteristically pre-announced big changes to the App Store, and a good time was had at WWDC.
As many of you saw, we put out a rough of the film. So far we've only heard positive reactions and have gotten a lot of great notes, which is encouraging for an unpolished cut.
A big thanks to our friends at JLOOP for sponsoring the early screening. They're building a rad video service called Odeum. It's super slick and it allowed us to stay heads down on the film instead of trying to roll our own web screening.
If you missed the viewing window or want to watch the cut again, we've opened up the viewing window for the next 10 days. You should have a fresh email with your code again so you don't have to dig for it. Each code is good for 5 viewings. And of course, no sweat if you want to wait for the finished film to watch it. That's what we would do.
We would love your feedback. Feel free to send it via a Kickstarter message or to our email, firstname.lastname@example.org.
We're cutting through our footage from our trip to WWDC and thought it might be fun to share a little mood piece:
Also, here's a link to the recording of The Talk Show Live from WWDC, which we had the pleasure of shooting:
