Hi. I filled out the backer email but I don't recall receiving my email with the download link for the ebook?

    3. Karen Elizabeth McMichael on January 26, 2017

SC received in Canada today, so other international backers should check their mailboxes!

Super excited to get my HC yesterday. The thing is gorgeous, and I love the size of it.

      Thanks so much Apex!

Hi Mikaela: The plan is to get ALL remaining backer kits in the mail this week (including hardcovers). We're about 90% finished with shipping.

    6. Mikaela Hansen on January 15, 2017

Hi there, I hope everyone had a great New Years! Is there an updated time frame for the hardcover copies? I'm so jealous of everyone who has gotten to read their books so far! ;)

    7. Apex Publications Creator on January 8, 2017

@Barbara You should have an email with a download link.

    8. Barbara Vau on January 8, 2017

    10. Zia Nuray on December 14, 2016

The intarwebs must have liked my ebook so much it kept it. I have checked my spam folder as well. Can we try again please?

    11. Apex Publications Creator on December 14, 2016

@Cassie We will email you to get this sorted.

    12. Cassie Lord on December 14, 2016

I just noticed I was sent a message with the name Lorianne Lynn at the opening, I don't know if I was sent it accidentally or if there actually is something wrong with my pledge. Any way to check on this?

    13. Apex Publications Creator on December 14, 2016

@jennifer & @jennifer -- I will email you separately to get this fixed for you.

I also couldn't figure out how to message someone here. Every update and confirmation of my info came through. But sadly, none of the ebook links. Any response is greatly appreciated.

How do I email/contact someone to say that the email monsters (close cousin of the sock monster in dryers) must have eaten my ebook link/code?

    16. Apex Publications Creator on December 13, 2016

@Laura You definitely should have received your eBook copies by now. We're currently shipping out the softcovers, so if you haven't received it you will soon.

Should I have received my digital copies yet, if I am getting a softcover?

    18. Apex Publications Creator on September 8, 2016

@donna: we have a meeting scheduled next week to discuss timing and next steps. We will have an update soon. Thanks for your patience!

I think you did the absolute right thing by not allowing upgrades on lower than softcover pleges. I am currently backing another KS campaign and they are allowing all kind of changes after the campaign ended. it has turned into a fiasco, with the delivery date on any gift extending into the far future.

Can't wait for my ebook copy!

    21. Apex Publications Creator on March 26, 2016

@Kerry - While we wait for payments and fees to clear, which takes about two weeks, we're discussing fulfillment to backers and what our next steps are. Right now, we don't know if we'll be able to address that for all backers or do that on a case-by-case basis. As soon as we have clarity, we'll update everyone.

I was really hoping that you guys would open up the hardcover version, but I missed the update that you had until after the campaign ended. Will there be another opportunity to upgrade softcover pledges to hardcover?

      on March 25, 2016

Thanks for opening up a few more of the Apex Central Command - I had been watching the softcover level for an opening, but I'll definitely snag a hardcover! =)
I'm a latish backer, but have enjoyed the campaign. Kudos and Congrats!!!

    24. Apex Publications Creator on March 25, 2016

Since there seems to be some confusion, the $20,000 stretch goal adds an additional print format to our existing plan. The softcover tiers will remain in place, and no one is required to upgrade to a hardcover edition. Thus, Upside Down will be offered in softcover, digital, AND hardcover. Thanks!

    25. Apex Publications Creator on March 25, 2016

@Lynn - Thanks! We plan on delivering multiple file types in PDF, mobi, and kindle formats to be compatible with as many devices as possible.

    26. Lynn Porfirio on March 25, 2016

Very excited to see what happens in the last 24 hours. This is a fantastic project which I am proud to support..... Look out 20K!

With the e-books, what format(s) will they be available to download as? I'm a Kindle person....

    27. Apex Publications Creator on March 25, 2016

We just posted an update to address what'll happen if we hit $20,000 and unlock the hardcover edition of this collection. Check it out! Keep in mind, that you will have to switch tiers if you're an existing backer. We will be watching the Kickstarter very closely, and will be adding new tiers as soon as (IF, IF, IF!) we hit that goal. Thanks!

    28. Apex Publications Creator on March 23, 2016

Hi Tasha, we have reviewed our pledges and our backers have added in the correct shipping information--so we're totally okay there!

The upgrade to the hardcover tiers will be $20, and the tiers will be the same as the softcover edition. Thanks for reaching out!

    29. Tasha Turner
      on March 23, 2016

Your pricing/shipping is confusing for add-ons. It might help to add the US shipping into the price and then only have Canada/Mexico and International. I'd do an update with this information. Hopefully that will get backers to fix their pledges.

Also you might let us know in the same update how much the upgrade to the hardcover will be. Those of us interested could increase our pledges which could help reach the stretch goal. Then when you put the new reward up backers can easily switch to the correct one.

    30. Apex Publications Creator on March 13, 2016

@janine - Yes, the book will be available through us for sure. Additional retailers will depend upon the number of copies printed. This is only possible because of the Kickstarter; otherwise we couldn't sell them. Thanks!

    31. Janine Amberger on March 12, 2016

So excited that this project is funded!

Do you guys already know whether the book will be available later on through the Apex shop and other retailers?

    32. Tasha Turner
      on March 11, 2016

That makes sense. I didn't know if you had a list you were holding off on announcing.

    33. Apex Publications Creator on March 10, 2016

@Tasha - Thanks! After we finish making our final selections. We're going through that process now, and want to announce after we've finished putting together the collection. We want to give the authors due consideration first, to ensure that they're treated fairly. :-)

    34. Tasha Turner

Sounds like this is going to be really fun. Thrilled it's funded. When do we get to hear about some of the other authors?
