Andrew Anderson wants to launch several new comics and promotional items to have at conventions.
About this project
Hello. My name is Andrew Anderson. Up until this point I have had a very nice career as a comic writer. It's still going strong and my first comic ever has been optioned for a film adaption.
I need your help getting my books out at conventions, and getting copies printed. Digital versions are already available for most of them. The books and promotional items are ready to be made. However, as a writer in the comics industry, I'm broke. The money that is donated will help me get my brand started and my name out for more recognition in the comic industry!
I also want to launch an anthology later this year. Some of the donations will go towards that.
So let me breakdown what books will be funded:
31 is a spy story, and the first arc was recently optioned to be adapted into a feature film. However, I need to pay a colorist to finish the last two issues. Last year James Boulton, the original artist dropped out. Orlando Baez, the replacement artist has been kicking out the pages. Let me just say, they are amazing! The issues being printed will be James' art work, however these will not be available after this printing due to the reboot! Orlando has agreed to provide original artwork for this kick starter.
War of the Gods
War of the Gods is an epic story. The idea was to do a major event book like "Civil War", with out the long history. The artist on it is Brian McCraine and he is doing an amazing job!
The more money raised...
means I can reveal some other projects and start gathering promotional materials for them. I might also be able to participate in Free Comic Book Day!
People can pledge any amount. I am offering a reward at various levels of donations. If, at the end of our Kickstarter campaign we meet or exceed our goal of $1,150 charges to your credit card will be processed. If we don't meet our goal the pledge money is not withdrawn from your account, and no rewards are provided.
