Posted by Jim Gaudin (Collaborator)

Hi all, a quick post to highlight that the team is currently at the Festival International des Jeux in Cannes, demoing Living planet on the booth 04.15. Come see us if you're around !

We got some high quality prototype version, with the definitive graphics,  to show and use during the whole convention that runs until tomorrrow evening. More pics will be posted once the dust settles and we can show more on the components.

Talk to you soon !

@Neferis it was a very good part of a game to understand the mechanics. Constant pressure of cataclisms and important choices of opportunistic and order of turn investments. The management of resources and money is very difficult. And the scenario generator that will arrive with the game promises infinite replayability.
Christophe and his wife Bea are really adorable. A great festival.

If a backer has the opportunity to test the game at FIJ, I would be very happy to have a feedback :)

I'm sorry about the changed graphics ... the game looks chaotic and inconsistent. The original look in the KS campaign was significantly better for this game style.

Severe struggle to survive on the living planet = colorful circus of several inconsistent design styles

It's a pity ... especially cards and the business card is its colorfulness completely beyond the understanding of the game.

      Nice to see new pics...

Still thinking that the new artworks do not fit at all with the theme.

Seeing the photos : if I see the big banner image of living planet in the background I really do not understand why the board game have so strange cartoonish , fanzy, kiddy style, destroying the idea of fighting against an hard tough planet. (The metal style artworks on the merchant board and cards , get me the goose skin, looks so anticlimatic)

      I really don't like it , and I think it s a pity

I m sure that's the gameplay it will be really fun!
