About this project
Officer Dan Anselment has set out to introduce children to police officers and the interesting field of forensic science. In today's entertainment world, children sadly, have been introduced to forensic science by watching CSI shows where someone has usually been brutually murdered. TV shows have also given kids a false perception of police officers.
Officer Dan believes that Forensic Science can be presented to children without the blood and violence often attributed to the field. The first book titled, Officer Dan Looks For Clues will introduce children to the many different types of evidence to include: hairs, fibers, fingerprints, shoeprints, tiretracks, and tool markings.
The book will be beautifully illustrated with a child friendly look and included will be brief and interesting facts about each item of evidence Officer Dan collects. The book will not only entertain but educate children about the field of forensic science with a positive message. Parents you will learn something from this book as well! This book will also teach children step-by-step methods to problem solving.
Your contribution to this project will allow us to fund publishing the book, web design, advertising, printing our first copies of the book and any other expenses incurred from this project.
If we exceed our goal then we will apply the funds towards further promoting the first book and then apply the remaining funds to the next book of the series.
We sincerely appreciate your contribution to this project. Thank you!
