I got my unit and assembled it yesterday.
Via Bluetooth I can connect the camera to the system (Samsung GT-S7562). If I start the app and try to connect the device, I'll get an error (No connection. If switched ON: Try to disconnect AND connect again). I tried that several times; reboot fails too.
      IR-Blue is marked at hardware.
I tried an other Samsung too but fail again.

How can I solve this issue?

Greg, the issue with pictures not saving should be fixed by going to Settings -> Privacy -> Photos -> IR-Blue turn on allow to save to the Camera Roll. Let me know if that doesn't work.
I am going to add a calibration setting to the next version of the app to help with that.

Got my assembled unit a couple of days ago, and have been enjoying playing with it. The 'Save' button sounds like it's taking a photo (iOS) but there's nothing in the camera roll. Some of the other features are unclear, or I'm not sure what the purpose is. (Blur?)
And finally - it always seems to think the edges are cooler than the middle - the corners are almost alway blue, and the center orange when pointed at a uniform surface (wall, floor, etc.)
Is there some way to calibrate it?

Datashifter: On the Play store App page there´s a link to my web page.
On that page you can find a quick start pdf. ( http://goo.gl/XmGt1 )
It will have an update the next week because the App changed a lot the last couple of weeks.

In the setting menu you can scale to 95%. I will see if I can make an extra setting of 100%.
Blue Auto = direct min/max scale update, Yellow = average of 10 sensor readings min/max update and Green avarage of 2 sensor readings min/max scale update.
I use the Green auto most of the time.

Got my fully assembled unit today. Works perfectly! Paired flawlessly with my Droid RAZR MAX HD.

Can we get an app option of 100% camera scaling? Maybe with configurable button opacity?

And how about a quick an app guide? Like, why are there blue, yellow and green "Auto" button fonts?

Anyhow, the IR-Blue is an awesome gadget!

      Many thanks!!!

I got the kit a few days ago, and tried putting it together. Sadly, I have to admit I did screw something up, so I'm going to have to get myself another capacitor from a local store..
