Getting close

Posted by Andy Rawson (Creator)

Hey everybody, the kits will start assembly in the next 2 weeks. The contract manufacturer will run a couple of boards called a first article and we will then verify that everything looks good and approve the rest of the run. We hope to be shipping kits by the last week of May.

The sample run of 100 cases looks good so the production run is in process now. Those should be here within 2 weeks.

The assembled units are scheduled for manufacturing the first or second week in June. We hope to be shipping those by the third or fourth week in June.

The Android App is available in the Play store and the iOS app is waiting for review and should be available in the Apple App Store soon.

@Andy Rawson Ah. Did know that. I was looking for java source code and did not find any. I think I will play with FIR when it gets here and maybe port the code to "native" java version.

Andy, the latest version mentioned on PlayStore is 0.77 but I can't get it because PlayStore says that it's not compatible with my tablet. My tablet isn't officially supported on PlayStore, but it's been a long time since I've had any trouble with it. The latest version shown on GitHub is 0.71 so I can't get the current version from there either. Advice?

      Hi,

i´m a backer and a infrared developer for thermal industry application. I´m very excited to see the "customer" infrared sensor and how i can adjust it from a calibrated infrared sensor. I will share the results here.

Thanks also for sharing the source, i can see how much work you guys spend on this project and it´s great that you post the updates to us , the backers.

      Keep up the good work.

Arne, the source code is for Basic4Android http://www.basic4ppc.com/ which is what Marcel used to develop the Android app.

Will the source code will be available? What is available under https://github.com/RHWorkshop/IR-Blue-Android does look complete.

Can you post the .apk file to site for some "lucky" that play store is not working so good?

I hope the iOS app gets approved in time. I've heard horror stories of iOS app approvals taking forever.
