That’s me! I wrote The Ethics of Dragon Slaying one day as proof to a friend that a children's book could be entertaining while still carrying an important message. A few years passed while Sir Geoffrey and his friends languished on my hard drive before I met Stephen from Code Red Four. With his help and connections The Ethics of Dragon Slaying began to grow and change into what I had always wanted it to be, an amazing book with awesome illustrations that will entertain kids while teaching them the value of questioning authority and power of creating your own morals.
A little bit about me. I’m a writer/poet/geek from Duncan, OK. I've been writing since I could hold a pen and writing well since I realized not all of my characters had to have the same name.
Linda is a versatile illustrator from Singapore. She employs a wide variety of mediums and styles ranging from realistic to abstract. She especially enjoys working in traditional art forms and experimenting with watercolor and ink. Her art is often characterized by whimsical, humorous creations, as seen in 10 Sleepless Sheep for Woolly Nights, a book that won her The First Time Writers and Illustrators Publishing Initiative Award in 2008.
Linda has a passion to help youths acquire a love for reading and has
taught High School English Language and Literature for 8 years. Her classroom
lessons often integrate Art and Literature as she tries to bring words to life
through visual imagery. She was delighted to help her students put together
SEEDS, a book of poems and drawings, in a collaborative effort to raise funds
for a special needs school in their community. She has also organized book
reading activities in neighborhood libraries. In her free time, she designs
cards for various companies and voluntary organizations. She also takes great
pleasure in writing and illustrating children's books for her adorable little
