See you this weekend?

Hi everyone!

First let me apologize if you've gotten this information already through our mailing list.  I want to make sure I reach out to everyone and there is some overlap...but it's worth it!  ON THE ICE IS OPENING IN THEATERS THIS FRIDAY!  I'd like to say for one last time in all caps with several exclamation points...WOOHOOOO!!!

Because of all of you we are able to commit to releasing the film in 16 theaters so far.  We are still confirming more theaters and we'll see if we can expand it further.  It has grown beyond what we had imagined was possible and the response from theaters thus far has been exceptionally enthusiastic.  We are so grateful to all of you for helping us make this happen.

For those of you who live in the New York City area, Anchorage or Fairbanks, your chance is finally here to see ON THE ICE!  I'm writing to ask that you please join us this weekend in the theaters.  We want to celebrate with you, and your support this first weekend will be hugely powerful in terms of how long theaters will be willing to keep our film playing.  PLEASE COME THIS FIRST WEEKEND IF YOU CAN!!

Any idea when we will get to see the film in electronic format?

    3. Creator Kade Mendelowitz on February 23, 2012

Greatly enjoyed the showing in Fairbanks, and further appreciated your willingness to stop by and talk with some of our classes at the University. Andrew is a great artist, and Cara is simply delightful (and intelligent) - what an amazing team!

    4. Creator Jim Lavrakas on February 21, 2012

I saw it this past weekend. I loved it...

    5. Creator Sean Voysey Olson on February 16, 2012

I would love to see a premiere in Minneapolis. We have a great local film scene here that would love to see the film.
