Hello Kickstarters! Thanks for having a look at our project. We are very excited about Fantasy Dice and we hope you can help make it a reality. This set of fantasy dice will fit seamlessly into any themed RPG setting! All we need to make them a reality is your help!
This project was born from many nights at a table playing games. We understand that gaming is about immersion and every product we create is made to complement your character and the stories you create.
Currently there are 5 different color mix options that we have produced in prototypes. We have some really cool ideas for things we can add to this project once all the stretch goals are reached, so be sure to pledge and share to help us reach tons of stretch goals!
The dice are cast in a jewelers grade epoxy resin fully recyclable. This not only gives very balanced dice but they are extremely durable! Plus all of the colors I create are mixed directly into the resin so theres no color fade! They are a nice weight to hold in your hand and have proved to be durable and hardy to wear.
All the dice are nominally 16mm, the common size for polyhedral dice used for role playing games internationally (the actual dimensions across the flats of the dice will vary by the dice type, D20's are usually slightly bigger than the d6).
Manufacturing is an expensive proposition; one that requires complicated tooling and expensive setup fees. If you pledge at least 11 € you will be pre-ordering one set of dice. If you pledge 22 €, you and friend can each have a set of dice.
While the design is finished and the factory is ready to go, we will be working around the clock to get these out in record time. We anticipate shipping the first fantasy dice units in about 4 weeks or sooner once the project funds.
We’re extremely passionate about the fantasy dice and committed to doing everything in our power to solve any challenges that may arise along the way – that’s a promise!
Risks and challenges
We have to make sure everything goes according to plan to meet our promised deadlines. We have our manufacturing and operations all ready to go, and we've made sure to leave enough time so that your dice arrive as planned. We are confident that our calculated plan will work effectively once we're funded, and that we'll be putting your dice in your hands by december.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
