First Video of Aria from Three Way Songbook

Hi everyone!

We are excited to present a video from the recent American Modern Ensemble concert at Merkin Hall in New York City entitled "Voice of America." This concert took place on April 27th, and included four fabulous singers: Marnie Breckenridge, Samuel LevineWes Mason, and Jordan Rutter, as well as AME's wonderful pianist, Geoffrey Burleson.

This is a piano/vocal version of the aria "Broken Machines" from Act I. The Companion, sung by Wes Mason. In this aria, tech-support worker Dax comes by Maya’s house to upgrade Joe. He flirts with Maya, who gives him the cold shoulder. As he works, Dax broods on people and androids.

This is one of the arias you will receive in the THREE WAY SONGBOOK if you pledge at that level or higher!

We will post more videos every few days, but just wanted to get this one to you so you had a taste of what's to come, and to give you something to listen to this week!

And finally, if you want to hear this aria LIVE as part of THREE WAY with Nashville Opera, American Opera Projects and featuring American Modern Ensemble, purchase your tickets now for the New York premiere at BAM, June 15-18, 2017.

Warm wishes,

Robert, David, and the AMR Team
