About this project
Bloody Bones is the first feature from American Horror House Productions. It is a tribute to shot-on-video classics and low budget films of the 1980's.
American Horror House believes in supporting independent horror and making films without the stresses of the major studio system.
We promise one thing: 100% Independent American Horror.
In 1987, five youths enter a decrepit house looking for a place to party and escape the weather for the night. Instead they find a nightmare. For inside the basement, there lives a skinless monster by the name of Bloody Bones. . . and he's hungry.
We recently shot a teaser trailer for only $50, using members of our crew as actors, to give people a rough idea of what we're planning on making the actual feature look like. Sticking to the low-budget ethos, Bloody Bones is a purely volunteer effort, but we still need to raise money in order to feed our awesome cast and crew and provide transportation to and from each location.
Some of the money we raise will go into renting equipment and purchasing materials for the special effects (which are ALL practical), and a large portion will go into creating the costume of the character of "Bloody Bones," which is highly detailed.
Please donate what you can and please spread the word. We tried to make the rewards as awesome as possible, so please donate if you are able. We do ask that if you live outside of the United States to add $5 to cover the added cost of shipping! While we set our "goal" at $500, we need as much as money as possible in order to create as good of a film as possible.
