Hello Kickstarter supporters!

We're excited to send out your rewards next week. Please make sure you have filled out the email survey with your mailing address so we know where to ship your rewards. Many of you have not responded. The survey was emailed from Kickstarter on January 9th 2014. You may want to check your spam/junk mail folders in case it ended up there.

In other news, American Commune is having its European premiere at the Thessaloniki Film Festival in Greece this March. We will also be screening at the Sebastopol Documentary Festival end of March and the Nashville Film Festival in April. If you're in any of these locations, please come! Check our Facebook and website pages for specific details.

Thank you all for your continued support!

Rewards update

Hello Everyone,

Happy New Year!

We're excited to let you know that your Kickstarter rewards are in progress and will be sent out late January. Apologies for the delay, it's been an incredibly busy fall and things took a bit longer than expected. But rest assured, your DVDS (and other rewards) are in the process of being made, packaged and delivered.

Thank you for your amazing support! We wish you all a healthy, happy and prosperous 2014!

Much love,

The Mundo Sisters

Coming to theaters near you!

We hope you’re having a great fall. We wanted to share that we’ll be screening at several exciting film festivals over the next couple months. If you’re in the area, we’d love for you to attend and spread the word.

October 4 & 6, 2013 - Woodstock Film Festival - Woodstock, NY

October 6, 2013 - Tacoma Film Festival - Tacoma, WA

October 12, 2013 - New Orleans Film Festival - New Orleans, LA

November 2, 2013 - Rocky Mountain Women's Film Festival - Colorado Springs, CO

While festivals are a great way to view films, we realize that they’re not always in the city where you live. So, we’ve hatched a plan to take our film on the road and screen at colleges and community centers around the country. If are interested in seeing our film in your city and know of a community center (min 100 seats), theater or university that might be interested in screening our film please let us know. We’d love to hear from you! Getting our film out into the world is proving to be almost as challenging as making it and we can use all the help we can get.

Lastly, we have not forgotten about your Kickstarter rewards and hope to have them mailed out by November! Thank you for your continued support, it means the world!

American Commune is going to the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival!

Hello wonderful supporters,

We're excited to let you all know that our film is an official selection of the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival! Woo hoo! The SFJFF is the largest and longest running Jewish festival in the world and we are honored to have our West Coast premiere on July 26th, 2013.

We will have three screenings and would love it if anyone can attend. You can get tickets online on the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival website. We will be at the first screening on July 26th and have a Q&A afterward.

In case you didn't catch it, we also got a great review in The Hollywood Reporter and IndieWire listed us as a top 10 must see film from Hot Docs.

Thank you for your amazing support in helping us finish our film and get it out into the world!

XO, Rena & Nadine
