Scream or Die is a fast, fun, family-friendly dice game for 2-8 monsters.

In Scream or Die, you and your friends take on the role of mischievous monsters who’ve been transformed into children by their boss, Belinda the Witch. In order to break her spell, you must bring her 13 buckets of candy on a single Halloween night!
Being monsters, you'll also gather Screams, and use them to control the roll, even when you’re not rolling. If you don't like the dice, add more! If you don't like the roll, shake it up! Screams control the dice, the dice give you candy, and candy wins the game.

At the start of the turn, the current Roller draws 5 random dice from the bag.
Next, everyone gets to use their Screams to have the Roller draw more dice from the bag. For each Scream they use the Roller has to draw that many from the bag. Each player gets to do this once a turn.
After every player--including the Roller--gets a chance to add dice, the Roller rolls all the dice.
Now everyone gets a chance to use their Screams to reroll the dice that have been rolled. For each Scream they use, they pick that many dice to have the Roller reroll. Each player gets to do this once a turn. The Roller is the last person to do this.
Finally, you score the dice. For each dice face that has your monster’s symbol on it you get 1 bucket of candy (VP). Some have the monster’s symbol +2, which gives two instead of one bag of candy. The Roller gets 1 Scream token for every dice face that has a Scream on it. Afterwards put all the dice back in the bag and pass the bag to the next player.

Amber Palace Games is a crew of four monsters, err, four humans hailing from the Detroit, MI area, on a mission to create fun games for everyone!
We came together in 2014 around a common interest in tabletop gaming and have been working on new ideas ever since!
Our first game, Heir to the Throne, was successfully funded on Kickstarter in Spring of 2016.

Risks and challenges
We are relaunching Scream or Die after narrowly missing our funding goal in June. Using the months between then and now we have revamped some of the art, added some new features, and in general found ways to add the necessary value to reach our funding while managing to offset the costs.
However, these additional features and some of the added Backer Levels have their own associated issues. For the customization we are depending on our Backers getting us the information we need at the deadlines we set. Any delay we have in sending our materials to the printer leads to a delay in getting the product into your hands.
Based on our previous experience, we expect it to take 10-16 weeks for all copies of Scream or Die to be manufactured. This, of course, does not include shipping time. However, we have taken steps to minimize shipping as well.
For our first Kickstarter, shipping took over six weeks to fulfill. This time, we're using a fulfillment service that will ship directly to you, and we expect their shipping process to take about two weeks on average. It will also allow us to keep the game affordable for backers here in the USA, as well as those abroad.
That said, sometimes delays in manufacturing and/or shipping do occur. This is our first dice game, and production is slightly more complicated than a card-based game. We've taken many steps to ensure that things go as smoothly as possible, but there is always the possibility of unforeseen delays.
