Hi Guys!  

We hope you all are doing well! We can’t say it enough, but thank you. Without your help and patience, this would not have been possible! :-) 

In the shortest time ever we’ve grown from a small tight-knit team to over 15 Amabrush-Team members :-). We moved to our new office today and are viewing this new location as the start of another chapter in our story! 

AMABRUSH ON CBS 

Again, we are lucky to have received other awesome invitations! The day after tomorrow, on the 2nd of May, we will be on the American Talk Show The Doctors. On the 12th of May, we will be on The Henry Ford’s Innovation Nation, the Saturday morning show on CBS. Be there! 

THE UV-STATION 

The UV-Station’s design is finalized! The compact case (approx. 11x11x11cm) can store two mouthpieces. It is powered via a USB-C charger and power plug, simply connected to a
USB-C port on the charging station. The UV light turns on automatically when the lid is shut and switches off automatically after 10 minutes of cleaning time. It fits neatly with the charging station. 

Our Team is fully focused and working hard to make sure you will be able to enjoy your
10-second-teethbrush as soon as possible! We are really excited about what Amabrush is going to bring to your lives!

      I guess it would be great if you guys can give us an update about when the production is starting and an estimated delivery timeline. Instead of letting us know about ur advertising news.

      You know every few weeks when I need a good laugh, I come here to read comments on the stupidity of some of the people here like Sandeep & Adam. How these people will do a 180 when the item arrives too.

      When a company cares too much for secrecy its not a good sign. Factory pictures are cheap and fast to make. If you aren't scamming, post factory images, or SOMETHING regarding production. Otherwise, multiple delays and secrecy do not look good.
      TL;DR: PICS OR STFU.

      @Karen So for everyone here yes it is nice to see specifically where they are in the process and all that, however everyone asking for an ETA just know they have told us Q3 and until we are told something contrary to that time frame I would stop asking that question over and over again. Its being beaten to death guys just look in the updates or comments section.

      I agree with other backers: you need to stop with the interviews and start with the production!

      If you look on their Kickstarter page it still says beta testing would start last October and products delivered to all last December. I’ve backed a number of projects and this is by far the worst at communicating. They took orders for additional items last November, some of which have been incorporated as standard and some now obsolete. I bought these things assuming the December delivery time they promised. Sometimes the perfect is the enemy of the good. They can dither on as long as they want tweaking the product in various ways. They really do need to just get on with it and produce. An improved second version isn’t a detriment.

      It would be great if next update you could give more details about how the pre production process is going, what is happening with tooling, testing etc. Many of us backers enjoy details like that and factory/production pictures if possible. It would be nice to see your team in your new office too!

      This is a fairly complex product to get to market, from design validation to mass manfacturability to testing. It seems like these guys are actually getting this moving along pretty well. The youtube video linked by Dan shows that they already have a working model of the updated body. I'm feeling quite confident that this project will deliver in the end even if there are further delays, which I suspect there will be.

      Any idea when “as soon as possible “ might be? I ordered extras back when it looked like delivery would be last Christmas. Will those accessories work with the new design?

      Just wanted to express my gratitude for this product and the excessive updates and improvements that has been made. For me it seems like you guys really like to have a good product when you send it out to us, and don’t aim to have an updates version a short time after we get them. Nice to see!

      I know what you mean, I would very much like one too.

      I think our best bet is to order one at the store after the product is delivered. If memory serves me right, we get a discount on there too.

      I hope you all are doing well! I don't. It would be great to see specifically how far the project has progressed. Why is the project late? Which problems did you meet? Why is the design completely different now? These informations are important to the backers if they are to trust you. Document the current status not new offices and TV shows.

      Still amazes me how many people believe they "bought a product", or are asking "wheres my package, ordered this months ago". Kickstarter is not an online store (go to amazon if you want that). Kickstarter is used to help design, fund new products and the more extensive ones take time and usually are not completed within the estimated time provided by the project creator (especially those venturing into new waters both personally and in the industry). To Amabrush, keep plugging away and making this a better product, those of us who knew what we were getting into will gladly wait for a more polished product, and are rooting you on (and very exited)!

      Klingt doch gut. Auf welcher Weise werden wir early Starter backers am Erfolg des Unternehmen beteiligt? It is nice to read that you improved the team in People and the coverage within talk shows, but what do WE gain out of that?

      Thanks for the update. Nice to hear your team is growing. It would be nice to get more regular updates from you. But glad you're making progress.

      For all those yelling and screaming about a delivery date, they have given us one, "Delivery in Q3 2018!" In case you don't know, Q3=July, August, September.

      I know people want shipping dates and maybe that isn't available. Please provide an update on the manufacturing process. Is all the tooling done? the stand you are showing mock ups of. now that the design is done, when will the tooling be done. When can manufacturing begin? If this project is closed here why are you advertising. Let's get a product and please in your updates provide process updates and changes to the roadmap.

      Es ist einfach nur noch lächerlich.
      Uns werden immer wieder neue Goodies präsentiert, die wir sowieso nie erhalten werden (so wie das Ausgangsprodukt). Statt dessen erfahren wir, dass ihr ein neues Büro bezieht. Toll!
      Ihr habt mich auf jeden Fall für ewig von Kickstarter geheilt. Schade für alle wirklich guten Projekte.

      I find myself with the crowd. Focusing on offices & interviews and not demonstrating tangible progress on delivery is quite concerning. Please do an update where you show us actual product delivery milestones and progress.

      I also am not surprised a Kickstarter product is late. But what really annoys me is updates that basically tell us - ‘don’t worry guys, instead of spending our time and your money on getting the product done, we’ve spent it on new offices and travelling around to be interviewed.’ Awesome.., not. I’d rather you guys stopped all this travelling and hiring you’ve been doing on our coin!!

      I am glad that the company is doing do well. I look forward to receiving my toothbrush in the next few months.

      I think the haters have confused Kickstarter with a pre-order service.

      Alright... thank you for the update. I'm not enthused, but I'm glad to see that further down in this comments section a rough delivery date of Q3 2018 was given. Now could you please update the FAQ?

      I'm certainly not the first person irritated by the delays and I am certainly not mollified, but I backed the project because I thought it was a good idea. I won't demand my money back, but I certainly will not be a repeat customer if I never get the product I ordered in the first place.

      Please update with actual information next time. As the project currently stands, I no longer have faith that this product will ever get to market, much less that the prototype I ordered will ever arrive. I do not believe this company cares about it's backers or any potential customers in the future. At this time, I feel like I've been forgotten now that my money has been withdrawn. I'm fine with that, but I plan on cutting my losses and giving this project up for dead.

      Please prove me wrong. Otherwise Amabrush will not receive another penny from me.

      I agree with so many of the other posts. Your lack of transparency regarding completion and shipping reflects even more poorly on this company than the extremely poor planning to account for delays and be accurate on delivery promises. Enjoy your new offices.

      Jetzt wird ein neues Büro bezogen.
      Das interessiert mich natürlich viel mehr als das Datum der Fertigstellung bzw. das Versanddatum.

      Yeah, I'm jumping up and down, this is going to be on TV on two different shows, way to go. You left off the part we all want to know, where is our device, just an update of when we can expect it. Silly us, thinking of just us and our hard earned money.

      Having done a few kickstarters, it is no surprise that this project is late. It is understandable that with this new technology in the medical field that there would be pushbacks to the time. As some people have posted below, the one thing I would like from the company is transparency in letting us know what is causing the delays. I won't be getting my product for at least a year after I backed the project (July 2017). As long as Amabrush is clear with what delays they are having, I don't see any issue here.

      I wish these groups would be a little conservative in their initial time estimates so people don't get so unhappy but that is not the kickstarter world. Pretty much every project I have backed has been delayed months. However, just because it is delayed doesn't mean the company is a hack. It just means they don't project plan very well. Being startups, this is not surprising. I work for a major corporation and we deal with project overruns all the time. Is it frustrating to not get your product? Absolutely. However, My guess is everyone will get their product and most will be happy with their purchase in the long run (at least based on the other kickstarters I have backed).

      Und wieder kann ich nicht verstehen wo Eurer Hauptaugenmerk liegt. Da wird ein neues Büro bezogen obwohl die Unterstützer noch nicht einen Artikel gesehen haben. Da wird auf anderen Plattformen weiter fleissig um Geld gebeten obwohl ihr schon über 4,5 Millionen zusammen habt. Da wird in diesem und im letzten Update NICHTS von der erneuten Verschiebung auf Q3 gesagt, dass kann man nur mit etwas Glück in einen Kommentar lesen...

      Das Design wird immer hässlicher, was bitte ist das für ein eckiger Klotz als UV Station? Was ist aus dem tollen vorherigem Design nur geworden...

      Ich habe absolut kein Vertrauen mehr in dieses Projekt, möchte mein Geld wieder haben!

      Show us pictures of your actual product. Show us pictures of your production facility. Show us anything other than design moc ups. And give us details why you are delayed. Be exact and start to build trust back. This update is awful and unrespectful. At least show us a picture of your new offices with your 15 employees working there.
