Dev Update 1: Funded! PayPal Update, Fan Art Contest Winners, and Future Plans

The campaign is finally over and we’re funded! Thanks so much to all of you for supporting us throughout this amazing month. We can’t wait to get ourselves back to development so we can have some more game stuff to show off as soon as possible.

Before we can get to that, though, we have a lot of work to do in regards to making sure that all of our post-campaign stuff is in order.

PayPal and Console Add-ons

A lot of you have asked us about being able to add one or two $5 console ports to your pledge. We can't do that anymore here on Kickstarter, but we've set up a page for this purpose via Paypal.

This post-Kickstarter add-on will be open until Saturday, May 31st!

http://www.alonsomartin.mx/hfa/lateksaddons/

You'll be asked for your Kickstarter Transaction ID, which you will find in your confirmation email from Amazon Payments. The email's title should read something like “Your Payment to Alonso Martin has succeeded”.

We will use that Transaction ID to link your original Kickstarter pledge with your Paypal operation. Make sure that you input the correct Transaction ID number. Also, remember that you can only pledge for one key for each console (up to three $5 add-ons are valid when your Kickstarter + Paypal pledges are combined).

People that haven’t yet pledged can still do so at:

Pledge Fulfillment and the 3DS Stretch Goal

As with any Kickstarter Campaign, there are some people whose pledge transactions have failed for many given reasons. Remember that you have until this Thursday, May 22 at 11:16PM CST, to resolve any errors if you wish to continue to be a Kickstarter backer for Heart Forth, Alicia.

After that time has passed, Amazon Payments will take up to a week to process all of the confirmed pledges. Once that's happened, we'll be able to tally an accurate amount of our final funds, and added to the funds we have on Paypal by that point, we’ll have a better idea of just how close we are to that 3DS stretch goal.

Right now, we’re standing at about $10,000 in failed/outstanding pledges, but a lot of that might be able to come in before Thursday. We're crossing our fingers.

Remix Album

We're very happy that we were able to reach this stretch goal during our final countdown! It's going to be really exciting to have all these people working with us. We're working on a way to integrate a free digital version of the Remix Album into our existing tiers. We'll let you know more about that once we've worked it out!

Fan Art Contest Results

Here are the winners of our Heart Forth, Alicia fan art contest! We thank you very much for participating and for the time you invested in making your awesome entries. We announced on the Livestream that we'd be able to give away a free digital version of the Remix Album to the winners! We're also going to give away digital copies to all the people that entered our Fan Art Contest! :)

We have a ton more work to get done over the next few weeks, including setting up private forums, getting in touch with our higher-level backers about custom designs and alpha testing, sending out a survey to make sure that we meet all of your needs—and that's just exclusively related to the Kickstarter Campaign!

Let us know in the comments if there's anything you want to see!

Great, thanks Alonso, it works now. I appreciate the response!

@Chris The website should be back up! We got bombarded by traffic from Reddit (hotlinking an image from our server), but we've got that issue fixed :)

@Micah We will definitely have more contests and livestreams in the future!

@Cameron If you were able to add the add-ons you wanted during the campaign, you're all set. This is only for people that missed out on doing that.

      Alonso.

Your websites appear to be down at the moment, I'm getting an error that says "We apologize for the inconvenience, but unfortunately this website is currently unavailable." from your host. :) I'll try again in another day or two, but just in case you were too busy to notice.

Here's hoping for the 3ds version!

Also are there any more fan-art competitions upcoming? I missed my chance to participate. Ah well.

@Cassandra: Since the failed transactions have until Thursday and the post-campaign addon site is open until the 31st, it looks like we'll probably have a week or so window.

      Congratulations !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations on funding! One question, I was under the impression the 3DS stretch goal wasn't reached but it sounds like with PayPal funds it might be - will there be time to add on $5 for the 3DS version if it does end up happening? Thanks!

    8. Creator Alice "Chi" Raabe on May 19, 2014

Congratulations to the whole Alicia's team! \o/
And also, for everyone who joined at contest, you did an awesome work in so little time!
By the way, Will we see other contestants' works anytime soon?

So if we already pledged an extra 5 dollars, then we don't have to do anything else? Or is there some code we have to get with our transaction ID?
