Campaign Update #71 - Shipping Update Cont.

This is Allen again for your weekly shipping update.

US-Bound Shipment

The shipment has arrived. I've had confirmation from GTS that they've had contact with the forwarder and is coordinating to receive the cargo. Right now, everything is on schedule for the arrival date to the GTS warehouse June 15th.

EU-Bound Shipment

Annika from HappyShops has received the cargo. They are waiting for some additional custom packaging material which should arrive in the next day or two. Expect to see an email from HappyShops confirming that your reward has been dispatched this week.

AU-Bound Shipment

According to the Vessel Tracker, the cargo has moored in the Port of Adelaide as scheduled. Next step is customs clearance and a very short trip to the VR warehouse (who is also based in Adelaide).

Rest of the World

Global ExChain is our fulfilment partner based in Hong Kong who is responsible for the rest of the world fulfilment. The packages are currently on hold until we get confirmation from our HK fulfilment agent that funds are cleared. I'm expecting to hear back tomorrow and the process shouldn't take any longer than a day or two. For more details on the ExChain partnership, please refer to the most recent comment I made in last week's update.

Weekly Updates

Lastly, I want to take this opportunity to address the frustration many backers are having with the fulfilment process. I am keenly aware that updates like these, which occur every week only serve to remind backers that your game has not arrived yet. I have made it a routine to provide weekly updates on every project we've done. I do this because I think there is value in keeping backers informed.

Logistics and fulfilment is a long and slow process that I do not have a lot of agency over. So I realise some of the weekly updates are just me relaying information that may not seem all that informative.

If you feel weekly updates frustrate you, please let me know. I am happy to take feedback and change our update process to better serve you.

Keep with the weekly updates, it is one thing I really appreciate from you and table tyrant. Most campaigns I have backed say they will or will update once a month but then never deliver, however, you always have. Keep at it and thank you.

Another voice to echo the sentiments below - I would much prefer weekly updates over those creators that only update once per month, or even less frequently. It's one more thing that shows the professionalism of the creator, and make me feel much more at ease that things are progressing. Delays happen, and they are almost to be expected. Communication is key. Thank you for the weekly updates.

I prefer weekly updates keeping me informed that all is going well than silence until there is something of note.

I really like having the weekly updates. Even if they aren't really informative sometimes, they at least let us know you guys are still there and committed to getting us the rewards we pledged for.

The one thing. I have noticed though is that, with all kickstarter campaigns, you are going to upset some backers no matter what. If you give backers weekly updates, there are always going to be people that complain about it. If you give backers updates only when there is important information, people are going to complain that you aren't giving them weekly updates.

@ Tavle Tyrant Games: I say, do what you feel is best for you and give us updates whenever you want. It's your campaign and you should run it however you feel it needs to be run.

Allen I appreciate your efforts with the weekly reports on progress, and have Hands Of Fate and Smith's Of Winterforge on the go at the moment so get double updates. Rule and Make are an extremely professional operation and this comes through in the attention to detail and regular updates for backers. Thanks to you and the team for all your efforts on our behalf. 🙏🏻

Is delivery to Canada with the U.S. or the rest of the world?
      Thank you!

Weekly updates are fine with me, hearing from the creator is always good, even if its just to say "Things are still moving a long, nothing new to report" is better then wondering :).

Also, the ship is in Adelaide? Awesome! Shouldnt be to much longer till I has my game :D.

I definitely prefer having weekly updates. If anything, they can be easily ignored, and I'd rather have the weekly updates, with as little info as they have on offer and be able to ignore them, than to not have them at all. I think it would be obvious to anyone who has backed this campaign would be well aware that fulfillment and shipping is something you really have no control over but still appreciate being in the know.
