Campaign Update #52 - Manufacturing Continues

Posted by Table Tyrant Games (Creator)

Hi there backers,

Welcome back to another edition of the weekly project update. It's been a long journey from when the Smiths of Winterforge campaign funded, but now we continue to wait for mass manufacturing to be completed.

This week, our manufacturer has informed us that final production samples will be on their way to us in the first week of March (right after the factory returns from the Chinese New Year national holiday). These samples are the final step and, when approved, signify the end of the manufacturing process.

From there, Smiths of Winterforge starts making its way to our fulfilment partners in Germany, USA, China, and Australia.

Because there's still a few too many moving parts, we not able to pinpoint a hard date for when you should receive your rewards, however, we do have a much firmer manufacturing completion date now which is allowing us to make necessary preparations to ensure a smooth fulfilment stage.

Delivery Address Reminder

Although we are still a little way off locking everything down, to ensure we can move into fulfilment as smoothly as possible we need to make sure the data we hand over to the fulfilment partners is accurate. This is a reminder to make sure you keep your shipping address up to date by visiting the Smiths of Winterforge pledge manager. In a few weeks, we will send out a delivery address confirmation email and lock down address changes shortly after that.

That's all for next week. As always, we'll be back again next week with another update. Thanks again for backing us.

While it stinks that Chinese New Year is interfering with the project, it is completely understandable and i appreciate that you have been open and honest with us about the set backs you have encountered. You have run a great campaign and I just wanted you to know that your backers appreciate that.

Ahhh Chinese New Year, the month of "no news" updates from 99% of kickstarter projects. My advice to the creators is to take a week or two off, enjoy many cold drinks and accept that there ain't much you can do ;)
