Howdy there backers,

It's another week down so that means it's time for another update. Let's get into it.

White Box Unboxing

We finally got our hands on the white box sample this week so here's a nice little unboxing video to show you what was in it and our quick thoughts going over it. In short, we love it! Some components weren't what we expected, but that's because they were better than what we expected! Check it out below.

Rules Update

Our rules were handed off to technical editors this week and once we get it back, it will be able to go through the graphic design treatment. We're also discussing internally about what we're going to do when it comes to translations so, once we know more, you'll know more.

Artist for Limited Edition Sleeve

As you may have seen as part of the stretch goals, you unlocked a limited edition art sleeve that will only be available in the Kickstarter Edition of the game. Well, we have great news. Artist Grzegorz Pedrycz has signed on to handle this piece. He's previously done some work for Privateer Press (creators of Warmachine and Hordes)  and his landscape pieces are stunning. We can't wait to see what he produces. T see more of his art, check out his website or ArtStation profile.

That's all for this week folks. As always, thanks for backing us.

Hey @Cole. The Player Aid size is Tarot size from FFG :)

Well do I feel like I fool. We did unlock player aids and I must have forgotten. Shows how much a pay attention! :) Looking forward to tomorrow's update!

Hey there @Cole. We're pretty excited about the white box. The player aids were unlocked as a stretch goal (seen here... https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/allofthed/smiths-of-winterforge/posts/1866488). With regards to sleeving them, we'll let you know once we've got final artwork in case the sizing changes.

We covered the rulebook above. Once we have the new rulebook finished through graphic design, we'll throw it out to everyone to check it out :)

Love the white box sample! However I noticed something interesting. You revealed a small pack of player aid cards. These something that wasn't mentioned anywhere in the rulebook or during the campaign. So a good question then is what size are these player aids that way those who like to sleeve everything can know?

Also, I know you are working hard on it but any idea when we might get to see an updated rulebook?
