Campaign Update #12 - Welcome to the weekly update
Welcome to weekly updates! Every Sunday night, we'll be here to give you the rundown on what's been happening with the campaign over the last seven days. Without further ado, let's get into it!
As you may have seen, the reward surveys went out earlier tonight. The reason for this was so that we can feed this information into the pledge manager as soon as possible. We've already had a few questions come back, so I'll take a moment now to address them here for everyone's benefit:
What if I need to update my delivery address?
Once the information has been imported into Kick'd, you will be able to update your shipping details at any time prior to fulfilment commencing. We'll also let everyone know well in advance before we lock everything down.
Can I pledge for add-ons?
Yes! Once the pledge manager is ready you'll be able to include more add-ons.
Do I tell you what extra add-ons I want in the survey?
For now, please just tell us what you have pledged for. Once the pledge manager is up and running, you'll have a chance to add more goodies to your pledge.
In a couple of weeks, once a majority of surveys have been completed, we'll import that data into the pledge manager.
Billing Issues and Dropped Pledges
When the campaign finished, not everyone's pledge was successfully processed. This can happen for a whole host of reasons. If you've experienced an errored pledge, be sure to check out Kickstarter's guide, with potential solutions, here https://www.kickstarter.com/help/faq/backer+questions?ref=faq_subcategory#Trou
Kickstarter will attempt to bill everyone for 7 days after the campaign has ended (approximately 8pm Monday 1 May 2017 AEST). Should this be unsuccessful, don't worry. Just send us a message and we'll gladly make arrangements for payment via PayPal. We'll ensure you still get the Kickstarter exclusive goodies and access to the pledge manager.
What's been happening with the game?
So far, we've been putting together the final manufacturing quote request with our manufacturers and discussing various manufacturing options with them.
We've also been furiously playtesting the expansions just to make sure everything works with them, as well as working on the Solo and 6-Player variants, to ensure everything ties together nicely.
And that's all for today folks! Thanks so much for supporting our game. We look forward to providing further updates as the project unfolds.
