Risks and challenges
The development of any big project is big logistical undertaking and often time and financial constrains provide unexpected challenges, which can ultimately lead to changes and delays.
Fortunately, the Lilith team has a wealth of experience in the entertainment industry and we know how to approach (very) big projects.
So not only do we have extensive experience delivering quality releases (even though most of them are in the movie area admittedly), but we’re also well versed in working under the pressures of strict deadlines, budgets and high expectation.
We’re very confident we can deliver a game that lives up to fan expectations, on time and on budget.
We do value very close communication with the community, because in our opinion you are a part of this journey just as much as we are, therefore you can rest assured that you'll always be up-to-date with anything that might come up during production.

If funded, the current plan is to complete the PC version of the game with the team we have by the end of 2016.
The team will then move over to the Mac / Linux ports and console adaptations.
With your help in achieving our stretch funding goals we can then add significant resources specifically to the Mac, Linux & console versions and aim to bring the game as close to a day one release as possible. -
When we first announced our project in June it was as much to gauge the interest from
fans as anything, and it’s fair to say that the response was massive - you only have to
look at our amazing Youtube views and the interaction with our social media fans to see
that!Back then, we said that our development was a passion project - and that’s true. But
now we want to use Kickstarter to expand the scale and scope of those original plans to
give fans what they want on their desired platforms of choice. -
If funded, Allison Road will be released for Windows, Mac, Linux, Playstation 4 and Xbox
One. However, the exact release timing and scope of each version will be determined by
the success of this Kickstarter campaign, and specifically our stretch goals.We’d love to be able to bring all platforms closer to a day one release in
order to satisfy every Allison Road backer.
In order to do this we’ll need to significantly expand our resources and budget, and if we can reach the funding number required we’d be excited to try and do this. -
While we can't confirm it at the moment (simply because we didn't have any hands-on time with it yet), we'd very much love to make Allison Road available for Playstation VR.
We will definitely look into it! -
Yes, there is absolutely no requirement for VR.
It's up to you if you want to play the VR or standard version. -
No, Allison Road is set partly in a house, partly in other, strange and twisted environments.
The scope of these, however, is largely dependent on the success of this Kickstarter campaign and more specifically the stretch goals.

Indeed it is, but that figure alone doesn’t give you the whole picture.
We’ve already put a plan in place using personal finances to get the game done no matter what happens, however this extra money can be used by us to hire a few more talented people, get the game done sooner and allow us to commit to more features and platforms too.As stretch goals are reached you can see exactly what additional extras that money
unlocks and we’ll be transparent with our development not just because it shows fans
they can trust us, but we’re so excited to be developing the game and can’t wait to share
the journey with them too! -
Not at all! Even including the personal money we’ve already contributed, the cost for this
game will be a lot less than most AAA games cost to make!
It should be more expensive, but because we are paying ourselves below the industry
average, we only have a basic office and we are using Unreal, it really helps us focus
every resource we have on to developing the game.We’re as determined as the fans to get this game made and hopefully, looking at what we’ve produced so far, you’ll agree that we haven’t compromised on quality to do it.

We would very much like to offer other languages at the time of release, but this will depend on the success of this campaign, and specifically our stretch goals. -

The Lucid Dreams experience is designed to deliver hands on time with Allison Road
before the game comes out.
You will get a preview of Allison Road, set in the same universe but not part of the main narrative. That way we wont spoil any of the fun ahead.We’re aiming to release the Lucid Dream experience by mid-2016 and we’ll update our
backers with more precise timing after the Kickstarter ends.

You send us an original song you have created (subject to approval by Lilith Team)
And it will be included in a professionally recorded radio broadcast which the player can listen to in-game on the radio.
The radio DJ will announce your name and your track's name and furthermore you'll appear in the Allison Road audio creditsSo if the player listens to the radio, the songs will be played and will sound like a real radio broadcast. There will be 2 radio's in the game locations so 2 chances for the player to listen to it.

No, it will not be DRM free at this moment, not for this Kickstarter. But perhaps sometime in the future. Lets see.

We are aiming for a total gameplay of 5-6 hours

While we can't give definitive minimum and recommended systems specs at this point in time, we can certainly tell you what systems we are developing on.
Please do keep in mind that we will be testing a vast number of configurations to ensure compatibility and good performance and we will release more accurate specs at a future point in time.
