Well, hello there! First of all, thank you for supporting our music for the past 25 years. We hope you know how much we truly appreciate your tireless encouragement and backing. Here's the thing: We got stuck in the old model of making music and now we are trying to join the 21st Century. The old model was this: Make a record, tour for a year, try to get album reviews, try to get radio play... you know the routine.
Well, everything changed.
Now we're supposed to drop singles every couple of months. We're supposed to offer you all kinds of cool merch. We're supposedˆ to FaceTime and Snapchat our rehearsals and check in at every place we play. We don't know if we can get all the way there, but we do know we can get the ball rolling. We want to keep this train on the tracks. We want to record and release a single, get it on vinyl, get updated logos, offer some wall-worthy posters, in other words, keep you excited about our music.... If we achieve this "kickstart," we can get back to what we were meant to be doing - making good rock songs. It's been five years since we put out new music and that's WAY TOO LONG. We think you'll love the rewards we've cooked up . Let's do this!
Thank you for reading this, and thank you for your support.
Yours in Rock and Roll,
Alison, Patrick, Gray, Natalie, and Marc.
Risks and challenges
There is a five month backlog for pressing vinyl, so we expect the 7" singles won't be finished until October or maybe even November. We are going to offer a private listening party, but the exact day is in the works. If you choose this reward level, we will do our best to make sure we choose a date that everyone can attend. Again, this is going to be tricky with up to 60 people involved. For the tee shirts, we are exploring working with a third party fulfillment center. This only means that if you buy the bundle reward, your order might be shipped separately. And if you choose the iron on patch reward, you'll need to provide your own iron. :)Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
