Slacker Backers!

Dear our backers,

We love you and appreciate you very much.  Thank you very much for making all of this happen.

We're very proud of the kits we've put together, and we want to get them to you.  SO, if you're one of the ~80 slackers who hasn't filled out the address surveys, PLEASE do so, and we'll get your rewards to you pronto.

A more elaborate pocket factory update is forthcoming.  For now, I'll leave you with a photo from last night's solar hackfest.  Making waterproof solar panels on a desktop laminator!

Thanks guys, looking forward to it! Congrats on a great effort; glad to be one of the supporting cast!

    2. Creator Alex Hornstein on April 22, 2013

@dr-steve, we did get your survey response, and your kit shipped out last week. Thanks!

    3. Creator Alex Hornstein on April 22, 2013

@Ramona -- We shipped your kit out at the end of last week, so it should come in this week.

    4. Creator Alex Hornstein on April 22, 2013

@Valerie--thanks, we got your survey response, and your kit shipped out on Saturday.

    5. Creator dr-steve on April 21, 2013

Well, I see that I'm logged in and that I *should* see a banner pointing to the survey, but I don't see the banner. Could you tell me if you've received my survey?

    6. Creator Ramona Hutton-Howe on April 20, 2013

What's the ETA for the kit for folks who have filled out the survey? I haven't received anything

    7. Creator faser on April 20, 2013

Just got my Solar Pocket Kit, looks amazing... I only need to find time to build something.

    8. Creator Valerie Cudnik on April 19, 2013

Since I just see "you're a backer" with nothing about a survey, that means I'm good? I know I *tried* to fill out the survey, but it seemed like there was a glitch when I did it (can't remember since it was a couple weeks ago).

    9. Creator Dan Chapman on April 19, 2013

Hmm, I am a backer, but I don't see a message accross the top on the banner, it does say I'm a backer, and will be getting the classroom kit, so I assume I'm in the system. Can you put a message on the top, once we've signed in, that we're good to go, OR we need to fill out the survey?

    10. Creator Daniel T. Alberts on April 19, 2013

Alright, thanks very much for the quick response; I look forward to reading the book.

    11. Creator Alex Hornstein on April 19, 2013

@PsychoNerd -- whoops, good point. No, we didn't send a survey to the book backers--we're waiting until we're ready to ship the book, in September. We'll send updates on the book as we get closer.

    12. Creator Daniel T. Alberts on April 19, 2013

Did you guys send a survey to the $30 book backers? I wonder because I didn't receive an email and there's no banner on Kickstarter.

    13. Creator Alex Hornstein on April 19, 2013

@Wendy Yep, we've got your address in our system. Thanks! Our shippers have your kit packed and are sending it out shortly.

    14. Creator Wendy Kilpatrick Laubach on April 19, 2013

I filled mine out when I got it a while back. Should I have received my kit by now?

    15. Creator Amy Sheck on April 19, 2013

scroll up to the top of the page here 'Reward Survey!' - 'Respond now'

    16. Creator Kevin Frei on April 19, 2013

Did you send the address survey in an email? I can't find it.

    17. Creator Alex Hornstein on April 19, 2013

@Kevin--we initially sent out the surveys over email, through Kickstarter's system. If you can't find the email, log onto Kickstarter, and you should see a banner at the top of the page reminding you to fill out a survey, and that will have a link.
If all else fails, email us your address at, and we'll update the list.

      Umm, URL? :)
