@Vedran, there is a way and I've sent you a private message

Hi Albert, seems like I'm bit late asking this, but anyways, is there still an option to upgrade my perk to the one with 4G support?
      Best regards Vedran

@Marian, thank you so much for supporting the project and increasing your pledge (YOU ROCK!).

Including both modules with the 4G version would definitely not be cost effective and I really do not see the point of doing that.

Thank you for making it possible Albert. Switched my pledge from early bird to 4G.
Side question - would it be cost effective to maybe include both modules with the 4G version so that we can choose which one to use?

@ET3D, thank you for clarifying this for @Nicolas Ziegler

@Nicolas Ziegler, looking at the pledge levels, I think it's clear that 4G is an extra that adds quite a bit to the price. So 4G won't be included as standard, but for each pack there's an alternate 4G pledge level that you can choose.

      This update is confusing
      - you start by saying: "So we put our minds and hands together and as of today - we’re offering MAKERphone 4G for all our packs"
      - then you add: "you can probably just stick with the standard MAKERphone. If not - you can just go ahead and adjust your perk!"

Please clarify if the 4G chipset will be included in ALL packs or if we need to purchase it as an extra??

@ET3D, thank you for your comment.
I don't think 3G is a way to go as 2G will outlive 3G connectivity in some countries and 3G chipsets are still not that less expensive compared to 4G ones (as you already stated).

Shut up and take my money 🤣😎

I wanted to suggest 3G as a compromise, but googling prices it probably won't save a huge amount over 4G. Still, 3G does seem to me like the right place for this. I don't think 4G is hugely beneficial and 3G has enough coverage and longevity.

@Jose, thanks for helping Jeff out! :)

Jeff, click on the campaign tab above. If you're on a desktop browser, you'll see on the right what you pledged, above the other possible pledges. Click on your pledge (it switches to "manage your pledge" when your mouse hovers it), and now you can select another pledge. I just switched my 2 BFF kits to 2 4G BFF kits like that.

How do you adjust your perk?
