Back in 2013, Kickstarter backers helped to fund our first fully balloon-illustrated children's book. We were thrilled with the resulting book, And He Puffed: An inflated story of the Three Little Pigs. It received a bunch of great reviews. From time to time, people ask us where they can get a copy. Sometimes it’s people that just learned about it. Other times it’s people that once owned a copy that has since been loved by too many children and is in need of replacement. We've decided, it's time to do a reprint.
Forty pages, uniquely illustrated with balloons, tell the story of three porcine brothers venturing out from the safety and security of their mother's home to establish themselves in the world.
We wrote our own version of this classic tale when we still had young readers in our house. Today, our oldest is a senior in high school and getting ready to move on in the world, and this old tale has new meaning to us.
Every page of the book features full page photo illustrations. Each character and their surroundings are all made of latex balloons. The story is a twist on the classic The Three Little Pigs, re-told in our own words.

Bonus puzzle for some backers (early bird and gift packs)
Back us early or purchase a gift pack of books to get your own wooden balloon dog for your desk. This fun little 12-piece sculpture can be assembled in just a couple of minutes.
What needs to be done
We need to re-send the files to our printer and pay for the printing (that's the part we could use your assist with) and then send them out to you, our Kickstarter supporters!
This is a reprint of a past work. With funding from the Kickstarter audience, we will be able to do the reprint that people have been asking for, and have it seen by a wider audience. Our plan is to have these in your hands for 2018 winter holiday gift giving!
Risks and challenges
We don't foresee any challenges with this printing. The book is already complete. We've identified the printer we're working with. It's one we've used many times before, including for the first printing of this book. Duplicates of the electronic files exist on several drives in the office, as well as in the cloud, so there's no danger of corrupt files holding us up. Basically, we see no reason not to hit our timeline for delivery.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
