About

I have always wanted to create my very own lapel pins! This year, I would like to try my hand at creating my very first custom die struck soft enamel pins.

In the original Blade Runner, Gaff folds up tiny origami animals. By the end of the film, he leaves a tiny origami unicorn in front of Deckard's front door, implying the he knew about Deckard's dreams of a unicorn, leaving years and years of debate in the fandom over whether or not Deckard himself is a replicant.

When K visits Gaff in Blade Runner 2049, Gaff folds up an origami sheep, which is a reference to the title of the book the Blade Runner universe is based upon - Philip K. Dick's "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?"

Since the origami unicorn has been produced by many others, I would like to produce the first origami sheep lapel pin!

About the Art

This artwork was created shortly after seeing Blade Runner 2049 in theaters back in 2017. It was created in conjunction with a similar styled origami unicorn. It is an all-original design based on real life origami.

Risks and challenges

This is my very first Kickstarter project, so I appreciate any patience you have while I work through the process! If the project is funded, I expect a 3-4 week production on the pins. If funded before the 30 days, I can begin production ASAP.
