Goodies Galore!

By popular demand, today we're showing you... things. Stuff. No long-winded comments, just good old fashioned eye candy! It can be easy to miss some of the goodies from Asylum that we have been releasing over the years, so here goes...

Screenshots

These are 100% in-game screenshots at 1920x1200 resolution. Of course, they even more breathtaking when in motion:

Full version: Corridor 1A.

Full version: Gallery.

Full version: Game Room.

Full version: Laboratory.

Full Version: Corridor 2B.

Full Version: Foyer.

Full Version: Infirmary.

Full Version: Cafeteria.

Gameplay Footage

This is an early look at the game. Note much has changed since then and we removed the breathing noise. This was intended as a sort of technical gameplay video. Look at the amazing foyer!

The Interactive Teaser

Remember you can download right now this short playable demo of Asylum. It doesn't feature actual content from the game, but it's a polished first look into the atmosphere and chills that Asylum has to offer.

Download here.

Trailers

Here's the original trailer from 2010 (yikes!) and a secondary one that we released for Halloween. It was called "A Tour of Hanwell", not to be confused with the upcoming documentary. We liked the name so much that we wanted to reuse it!

The Bertrand Sessions

Finally, these were virally released even before the trailer. It was a fun and successful campaign that quickly raised awareness of Asylum. Viewer discretion is advised... these can give you goosebumps!

And that's it! Hope you enjoyed the show... stay tuned for more news!

      @Gene: Gracias! ;)

You can actually include the documentary as an add-on purchase now. So, if you're in the $30 tier (which includes the digital soundtrack), you can add $15 extra for the digital documentary. Hope this helps!

    10. Gene on February 22, 2013

This is looking very good! I'm also wondering if it's possible to have a $40 or $45 digital tier that includes the documentary (but no physical goods like the printed book).? I like the idea of a higher digial tier as it would also keep your costs down.

Con toda sinceridad espero que tu projecto tiene mucho exito!

Really liked the environments in the video. Hopefully things are as spooky as they seem.

Term consequences of searching a specific key in scratches. :D

    14. Ingo Günther on February 21, 2013

Guess that's why I needed so long too, to find the keys in the interactive teaser. :D

    15. Fate on February 21, 2013

I really love the The Bertrand Sessions!

    16. Creator Agustín Cordes on February 21, 2013

      @Ingo: Yes, always ;)

    17. Ingo Günther on February 21, 2013

About that "more than what is visible in the place" thing, I have to correct myself. Actually if I scroll down, there is a link called "Visit The Gallery". So there is no need to find the link on the end of the corridor. :D

Was this obvious link always there?

    18. Creator Agustín Cordes on February 21, 2013

@Ingo: OK, you make a good point... It would feel out of place though, but I'll make sure to mention that video in an upcoming update. It would be a nice introduction to Lenny alright :)

    19. Ingo Günther on February 21, 2013

@Agustin: I really like the video "Holiday Greetings From Senscape" (from Senscapes Youtube channel). I know it is "slightly" out of place at this time of the year, but why isn't it here? You could show some acting of two characters without spoiling anything more than a name. The voice acting there sounds great! And in the teaser you can hear only the main character, that couldn't carry conviction to 100%.

And to everyone else who reads this, there is more on http://www.facethehorror.com/asylum.php than what is visible in the first place.

      looks very good indeed

    21. Korg on February 21, 2013

I don't know why you removed the breathing noise it was very cool, it makes you to immerse more in the game!
      Nice update :)
