DRAKE is a 28mm, true scale, fantasy tabletop war game that blends incredible Dragons, horrifying beasts and powerful chant magic. You choose a great Dragon leader and his lieutenants and servants. Then craft a powerful deck of chant magic cards to annihilate your foes! DRAKE is played by deploying your army and moving your troops across the battlefield, in an attempt to vanquish your enemies. This game can be played with a vast army or only a few models. It can even be played as just Dragon vs Dragon! Click here to Download our colour Mini-Book.
You will need a range of items in order to play a fun and exciting game of Drake. You will need some models and cards that represent your forces and magical chant powers. You will also need a table to use as your battlefield, and some scenery pieces to make your game tactically challenging.
Here are some cards from the Universe Deck for the game of DRAKE. Rather than a fixed list of spells and abilities, you craft a selection of cards to represent your Dragon leader’s powers. Other cards, called “Force Cards” come with models. These hold the stats and Hit Points of your beasts and warriors, making for an organized and esthetically pleasing game.
Cards for DRAKE are sold in an open format, meaning you know what you are getting in each pack (no CCG arms race here) and can craft the exact experience you desire. They are typical fantasy game card size cards and will fit in any regular sleeve. Click here to see the full list of Universe Deck cards.
All our models are produced in Action Games Miniatures Studio in Vancouver Canada. We use High quality SL 3D printing to produce our masters. Here is Kaera: The Unburned.
Large models are cast in resin while smaller models are produced in high quality jewelry grade pewter. Some of our more complicated pieces use a combination of both materials. Should this campaign prove to be successful AGM will be looking into getting some of our dragons done in plastic kits.
Here is another example of a work in progress, this time showing a Rivercrest Swordsman Commander with a base-coat. The detail conversion from master to mould to cast is very good.
Our models require assembly and are not
intended for customers under 13 years of age.
AGM has set our shipping date as October. We actually aim to ship before then, but have left room for delays. The number one concern for shipping delays is staff. AGM will use funds from this campaign to ensure we have enough man/women power to get orders out in the best way possible.
Risks and challenges
There are many challenges to our current goals. Fortunately AGM has created its own production facility and is in direct control of most aspects of its manufacturing. Here are our biggest risks and the steps we are taking to mitigate them.
Risk: Staff shortage, leading to production delays.
Solution: New staff to be hired. Additional P/T staff available if needed, current staff trained in at least 2 departments each.
Risk: Materials shortage (molds, metal, resin etc…)
Solution: Contacts and infrastructure in place to use either CDN or USA suppliers. Our new American shipping address is in place to facilitate this.
Risk: Shipping issues.
Solution: AGM will be diversifying its shipping connections and using its experience over the last year to make sure the best providers are used.
