The Rail+ Campaign Has Ended— Thinking Of Alternative Ways To Try To Keep Going
First and foremost, Jason and I would like to sincerely thank you for all your support and kind words along the way. It is most unfortunate that our Kickstarter campaign was not successful. At the moment, we are still trying to keep this project alive, but this will be much more difficult without the funds required to do so; since we could not secure an SBA or find an investor. However—we haven’t given up yet! We are simply in a “holding pattern” until we can come up with a solution to be able to manufacture this product with along with the supporting accessories.
If you guys have any ideas please feel free to post it here—anything helps! Here’s what we have to far:
1) We can regroup and try this campaign again, with a lower funding goal and maybe offer slightly less accessories at first, and hope that those sales will be enough to put towards future accessory development.
2) Regroup; create another Kickstarter campaign with a lower goal (just enough to cover costs) and then find a factory in China to build the product.
3) Find an investor who believes thin the product as much as we all do and hope to catch the iPhone 5 as well.
These are just some thoughts to try to keep this project going.
Again, I wholeheartedly want to thank you all for supporting us. If anything else, at least we know that, even today—contrary to popular belief, there are still people out there who are more than willing to give their support to a couple of unknowns trying to build a business on based on a good idea.
You guys are awesome!
Hector & Jason
