BREAKING: Science Goes Extinct!
Hiya Backers!
Breaking News! Science (yes, THE Science magazine, international top-tier peer-reviewed scientific research journal) just published a feature article about Go Extinct!
Read allll about it here!

Your role with Kickstarter is highlighted and I couldn't be more grateful. The cheeky designer in me is pretty pleased to be in this journal not for making a research breakthrough but for making games!
Most importantly, this underscores just how supportive the research community is of outreach efforts improving public understanding of science. In my case, they've been there for me since the initial game experiments, to the peer-review process of crowdfunding, now all the way to publishing!
The article has started a cascade of press - including this super succinct summary of what Go Extinct! is about and the benefits of educational games in general. Several museum stores have purchased more stock of the game this week, too!
Also! If anyone is going to be at the Game Developer's Conference in SF next week, tweet at me (@aemarcy)! I'll be at various Independent Game Dev Assoc. events and would love to shake your hand in person.
Again, thanks so much,
Ariel
