AdventureX is a free event taking place in London (19-20th Nov 2016), bringing together developers & gamers with a passion for interactive storytelling.
We love graphical adventures; interactive fiction; exploration games; visual novels – just about any game with a great story to tell. We welcome gamers and developers from across the globe to share their experiences and exhibit their games.

AdventureX has always been run on a shoe-string. This year we want to pick up that shoe string, tie it to a twig to create a sling-shot, find a smooth pebble and...
... and basically, we want to raise some money. In previous years, almost our entire budget has gone to cover venue costs. This year we want to make AdventureX better by putting money into marketing, documenting the event, and securing guest speakers.
Our estimated cost breakdown for AdventureX 2016 strikes a balance between ambition and practicality and is achievable based on our experience since 2011. We want AdventureX to grow and keep supporting innovation in narrative gaming.
Please support this Kickstarter and then join us on the 19th-20th Nov!
We've designed the rewards to be simple, charming mementos of the event you're making happen. Rewards can be delivered by post, or collected at AdventureX 2016 (19-20 November).
Badges are 25mm (1 inch) in diameter and posters are A3 size (11.7 x 16.5 inch). Posters will be shipped folded (as pictured above).
Behind AdventureX is a collection of game devs who have produced a wide range of critically acclaimed indie gems. Back at the Adventure Xecutive tier or higher, and discover a new adventure with a Mystery Steam Key from one of our collaborators:

Risks and challenges
With a live event like AdventureX, there are always risks. Speakers can pull out, travel can be disrupted, tech failures can scupper presentations.
We've been running AdventureX for years now, and we've had our fair share of unexpected twists. By expanding our ambitions this year, we are taking on more risk. But with our experience and your support, we're confident we can deliver a cracking AdventureX.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
