Your recurring ad mails made me to write here too. I paid 240$ to you and never received a single board. So stop that brazen mails.

Please be honest Adapteva, is the book I paid for and I'm still expecting 3 years later, ever going to be reality? If not, just admit your failure, make it right somehow and we can move on.

Wondering if the Guide (which I chipped $25 extra for) is ever going to be a reality? Product delays were somewhat understandable but a guide was a selling point for some of us and the reference manual- while nice- isn't what was suggested in the original pitch.

My two are working like little bosses. :-) Excellent uptime, I've managed to build Debian wheezy with ZFS-FUSE support, so can use them as ballsy Raspberry Pis when I'm not playing compute. Interestingly they hate resetting without a power cycle, aside from hat awesome work team!

Why is it so slow? Played a video in youtube (not HD) and it plays like a picture slide show. Scrolling in browser takes few seconds before the page is scrolled.

Paid UK customs £33 on 2nd May. Still waiting for DHL/Yodel to deliver package a few miles from LHR. 10 days, 5 phantom delivery attempts and still no package - why did you have to use DHL/Yodel... the worst company in the UK

Yes, got the link from google.Quick question - can I connect the keyboard directly (with micro USB adapter) or do I have to connect through a USB hub?. Do i need active or passive hub if hub is required?

    22. Adapteva Creator on May 7, 2014

@murty Too bad about customs. Most people in Canada seem to have gotten their package without the need to pay fees. Note that the guide you are reading is out of date, thanks for telling us, we will delete it from the archive to avoid confusion.Did you find it through google? Had to pay $25 customs here in Toronto. As per this document there should two heat sinks in the package one for zynq and one for ephiphany. But there is only one heat sink in the package i received. Can any one confirm how many should be in the package?

Paid the customs fee at the weekend, package has been passed from DHL GlobalMail into the care of Yodel in the UK - so might have it next week, fingers crossed.

@blais/@harris Thanks! Great to hear that Canada shipping worked out.

@julien @gareth: Really sorry to hear about the DHL issues. The feedback so far seems to have been mixed, but clearly your experience are upsetting.

@savage Great to hear that Parallella is circling the globe!

@trick1..and everyone else Thanks for tellins us (and everyone) that the boards are starting to arrive!

@Gareth Nelson: my experience with DHL easily put them in the depth of the ocean way below standard mail shipping, last time they just dropped the package at some relay point without asking and there was someone home but they never even rang the bell...

    29. Frederick Blais on May 1, 2014

Backer #5169 just received a shipping notice!

Did any one receive in Canada? If so, what customs duty fee is charged?

    33. Gareth Nelson on April 29, 2014

Just a quick note about DHL - they're currently threatening me with debt collectors for the import duty on my boards as they appear to charge you weeks later, got a letter this morning threatening me (despite never getting an original invoice).

      Be on the lookout people.

    34. AJ ONeal on April 29, 2014

I just got mine, but I don't have the time for another hobby project, so I've put her up for sale if any of you want another:…

I got no information - where can i get my backer number?

    47. David Harris on April 22, 2014

I just received shipping notice for #2891. I'm in Canada. My response to the survey was 11/4/2012. USPS doesn't show the tracking, yet. Pledge was one board and accessory kit.

Double checked, definitely backer #2810, thought they were going to be shipped out by backer#? Not that I'm personally complaining! Received the boards today. :) I will note that I didn't receive the tracking email until 2 days after USPS says the package was shipped, so maybe there's an issue with getting the tracking emails out. Also, on the out chance that it helps figure anything out, I pledged at the 2 board level and currently hang my hat in Pennsylvania.

    49. Jay on April 21, 2014

Both Oneill #1,580 and I #1,956 are on the Parallella Community Forum saying that we haven't got our shipping notification yet. I filled out my survey on 7th November 2012. I'm an international backer - not sure if that makes a difference.

    50. Tom Potts on April 21, 2014

@david - my response is there. I'm in the UK I dont know if that makes a difference...
