Stretch Goal #3 Unlocked - Two new actions deliver a Family Friendly mode.

We've heard a lot of player feedback over the last month and it's been really well received.  One recurring theme has been a request to cater to different player styles. Stretch Goal #3 is going to deliver here as we're adding two new family friendly action cards. The game plays best with 10 actions cards for each player, but now you'll be able to decide if you want the family friendly version or the take-that version.  It's even totally fun to do a random discard of two for each player.

(Proto Art) Venue Promotion pays more for each truck at the venue. It may stacks with itself as well as other cards that modify venue payouts.

 A Helpful Touch!

We heard a number of times that players would like a round tracker card in addition to the First Player Token.  Yes and Yes.  I'll be adding a card that delivers this function.

      Hey @Misfiring Chong
The Shut Downs are meant to be pretty forceful and used to typically slow down whoever is in the lead. They are mitigated by the place another trucks and the move your truck. With all of our playtests, we don't see players getting completely shut out very often. I like the idea of the bluff but we didn't put any direct counter cards in the game b/c they can be a useless card as opposed to the move and place another truck cards. The game plays quick and light enough that the take that doesn't hurt too bad and scores typically end up being fairly close. I'm excited about the family option we added allowing users to toss those cards out completely if it's not their style. I really appreciate the ideas, keep em coming.

@Misfiring Chong, great ideas! Especially like the 'repair truck' card and the ensuing bluffing game.

In my opinion, the two "shut down" cards are mean simply because not only they can't be countered, they also shut down all and future action cards on that location/truck. When the cards are this powerful and multiple copies are aimed at the same player, that player can do little that round, and very likely lost any sort of lead he/she had.

The Venue Modifier cards help a bit, but I think the best way to deal with this is to have more "take that" action cards that can counter, specifically cards that can repair truck and revive a shut downed location. They're purely "counter" cards that are useless if no one play those cards on you, so you can have some mind games.

Awesome @Kalayna. We're super excited to offer an option for all the different kinds of players. If you get the right group, give the "meaner" cards a shot too and let us know what you think. Thanks for backing us and for your comment.

Thank you! I'm not much of a "take that" player, so these cards will be a welcome option at our table!
