Kodama Duo - a new game of Kodama for two, and expansion to play Kodama for 6 is now on kickstarter!

We are excited to expand the Kodama universe with Kodama Duo - a two-player game that shares the core game play of Kodama with exciting new twists such as spirit tokens and an "I split, you choose" mechanic tailored to enhance the two player experience.

Kodama Duo also expands Kodama to six players, and introduces new draft rules for Kodama. These draft rules speed up play and can be used with right now in your copy of Kodama - visit the project page, download the Kodama Duo rulebook to start drafting in Kodama right now!

To see how Kodama Duo makes a better two player experience, watch Rahdo's excellent review:

And of course we've worked with illustrator Kwanchai and graphic designer (and game designer!) Daniel Solis to make Kodama Duo just as relaxingly beautiful as the original!

You can see all the details, game rules and reviews by clicking here to visit the kickstarter project page for Kodama Duo.

Cheers,

Yeah i can't justify paying $20 to ship a $19 expansion :( Will stick with the 3+ player version until it (hopefully) hits retail.

I'm in the KS app and both links just send me to the kodama KS page, not duo...

Agreed, the shipping is more than the game!

I would, but shipping is the price of the game itself. I suppose I'll gamble and try to pick it up off of Amazon. Grats on getting funded though!
