Hi, I'm Aaron Miller. I work as an illustrator, and my passion is painting fantasy ART. I get to do that for some amazing projects, including Magic: the Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, Star Wars, Hearthstone, Game of Thrones, and Lord of the Rings.
In 2018, I created a treasure token for my Patreon supporters. A card token is a marker that a player uses during gameplay to represent something, such as a creature, that isn’t already represented by a normal card in the game. My treasure token since evolved into the Treasure Skull, which I want you to enjoy as wearable art.
Each, hard-enameled, gold pin will be securely backed for safe travel. Each pin has two backing points and military rubber backings, so your pin will stay put and not spin in circles.
"Each Treasure Skull is lucky for whoever has it now, but not so lucky for whoever had it first."
Each pendant is crafted from powdered bronze and resin, with each gem hand set by sculptor David Lee Pancake. The pendant is two inches wide and 2.25 inches long. The chain is 18-inch, antique bronze.
It's perfect for your next gala or gaming night.
The Treasure Skull brooch is the same size and made of the same, fine materials as the pendant. Adorn your finest outerwear with the pin-backed brooch while on your way to a feast or cosplay party.
I wanted a smaller, precious piece for the collection, befitting the setting of stones found in real treasure, so I reached out to metalsmith Olivia Gobert-Hicks. Every step of the process was exciting to see unfold. She first created a wax sculpture of the skull, followed by a production sample mold for the casting house to create my stunning precious metal versions.
The Treasure Skull precious metal pendant shown is the production sample cast in pewter. Your pendant will be cast in either sterling silver or gold-plated sterling. Each of the five gems are two millimeter long hand set in the 1" x 1.25" pendant.
Each pendant comes with a FREE 18-inch chain. Giving you the opportunity to wear the pendant right away while you find the perfect chain to suit your style and budget.
If you're in love with it now, get ready, because it only gets better. Each pendant comes in a black felt jewelry box.
Store your dice in the Treasure Skull dice bag. Or, use it to hold your Treasure Skull collection.
Each bag features a Treasure Skull printed on microfiber exterior and boasts a soft, interior lining. It measures approximately 6.5 by 8.5 inches.
Keep your precious items free of fingerprints and smudges. Perfect for your glasses or cell phone, too.
Each cloth measures approximately 5.5 by 6.5 inches.
HOW TO ADD ON TO YOUR BACKER PLEDGE
Press “Manage Your Pledge.” If you have not backed this project yet, it will say “Back This Project.”
Increase your pledge in the Pledge Amount Box by the total price of the add-ons you would like to add. For example, add $10 for a pin.
Do not change the tier you are currently pledged at unless you would like to change it. If you do, you will also need to add the add-ons amount to the new tier.
Once the Kickstarter ends, you will receive a survey asking how you want the add-on money assigned. I'll use Backerkit to make this process easy.
I was excited to have the opportunity to team up with these amazing creatives to turn my ideas into reality. I can't thank them enough for their skill and creativity.

Your survey will be powered by Backerkit. You'll have a lot more control over your survey, your shipping address, and have a ton of additional add-ons to check out after the campaign has ended.
Each reward and/or add-on increases the weight of shipping, making it difficult for Kickstarter's platform to tabulate. I've decided the best solution is to use BackerKit to calculate shipping. It's very easy! Check out the chart below to gauge shipping costs. I'll send you a survey, confirm your address, and pay for the shipping. I'm doing all that I can as a small business to keep your shipping costs equal to or below my costs.
You can expect postage per item to be about $5 USD Domestic and $10- $15 USD International, depending on your country. I learned a lot from the last campaign about shipping international and will try my best to keep the customs cost down or none at all for you by shipping items as a gift, which the rewards essentially are (I cannot guarantee against your country's additional customs fees.)
If you back this project, make sure you have the correct email address listed in your KS account because that is the ONLY way I will be able to contact you after the end of this campaign to get you your rewards.
Risks and challenges
The biggest risk I'm taking is the shipping date for the brooch and pendant. If this campaign grows beyond my wildest dreams, it might just take a while to make more than I thought I'd need to plan for. I can always dream.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
