Modernizing older hits is all the rage. What if we went the other direction? - Daft Punk's hits, funky New Orleans brass band style.

OK - so here's the latest:

Recording session is BOOKED - we'll be recording August 29th and 30th.  That means a couple of things.

-People singing on the record, I'm going to want the group of you to come into the studio on one of those 2 days. I'm not sure which day yet, but we'll sort out date and time soon.

-The Red Beans and Splice party will be the following Monday, September 3rd.  Yes, this is much later than anticipated (I thought it'd be June or July), so if that date is a conflict for some of you I'd be willing to do a make-up Red Beans event.  Having 2 parties is clearly better than having people miss out. :)

Electronola & Classics Download Codes are OUT - If your reward included downloads of my previous records, the codes to get them should be in your inbox. :) I see quite a few of you downloaded them almost immediately.  So... what's your favorite track?  Feel free to post in the comments.

Arrangements are near completion - if all goes as planned, I'll have arrangements of all 4 tunes done by tomorrow.  (Ok, yeah, I know realistically I'll probably nit pick and tweak small details here and there until the morning of the session, but that's just how I roll - for all practical purposes, they'll be finished).

Possible Tour? There's so much interest, it'd be silly not look into taking this thing on the road.  Once the arrangements are done, I'll be able to focus on trying to make that happen.  I'm not making any promises yet, but I hope I can work it out.

Several reports of these getting spam filtered. Sorry about that, folks. Please check your junk mail folders. Again, if you don't find your codes for some reason, just shoot me a message and I'll get you sorted out. :)
